So does any one know where season 4 is going to lead? Will Uthred finally go back home to face his uncle or will that be for another season later on? Will Uthred help King Edward till King Edward is able to stand on his own? Will King Edward help Uthred reclaim his home? What disagreements will Uthred & King Edward have? I think Uthred will but heads with that New Priest in King Edwards ear & of course his evil mother as well too! I would like for Father Beocca to join Uthred's squad, & i would like for Uthred to marry Athelfled, of course after taking out the pipsqueak boy-bander of Mercia for his Treasonous behavior when Alfred was King & for attempting to Kill Athelfled! I don't think King Edward is going to be thrilled with him when hearing about these events!

What gets me is no matter how much Uthred does for Wessex king Arthur or king Edward it seems like it's never enough. Uthred lost so much and sacrificed so much but seems like he was never appreciated. Makes me kinda angry. I have to say I love this show

Also, Utred sailed north from Lundun to get away from Alfred and Ragnar sailed in a fleet south, landing on the South Coast before returning to Dunholm when the invasion failed. Is Ethelwold finally killed by Utred? I am currently watching the series on BBC First and have just watched episodes 5 & 6, wondering if they will ever return to the book?

Athelwold gets creamed by Utred in "The fall of Kings". that is based on the real battle where Athelwold does get killed on the Danish side. The historian Michael Wood did a TV series on Alfred, Edward and Æthelflæd. Æthelflæd, the Lady of the Mercians, spent years clearing the Danes from Mercia, a process more or less completed by Æthelstan, later the victor of the Battle of Brunanburh and himself King of Wessex and later England.
I think you did an excellent job of mixing the music and dialogue tremendous I could hear both clearly as a musician and a LOVER OF THIS SERIES I must hand it to you great work... I long to make them myself I just can't afford the equipment daughter first daddy duty.. My dreams wait.. Great work hope to see more
This seemed very low budget when I started watching but it turned out to become amazing, Game of thrones is the best of all time, Vikings is very good and this is also very good

Bloodhair and Skade were absolute pushovers for villains this season. But the one thing season 3 did well was past characters stories and character arches melding together to give (what I think is) the best ending of the show.
In season one he says Alfred will never be my king and in season three he says Alfred was my king amazing character development
