I wish you can have a romance instead doing the mission in order to romance Danse since I'm mostly am getting only peaceful ending for the 3 factions alive after killing the institute.
I am french and we never say "vous" we say "tu" in this kind of relationship. "vous" is a respectful appellation for strangers or people like your boss or teacher. I too don't understand why Danse use "vous".

Assuming he's only just scratching the surface of emotion, whilst previously being emotionally flat and generally motivated by intellectual reasons, I can understand why he almost never shows a non-neutral facial expression, especially with something as new and complex as romantic love. I have chronic depression and an inability to feel pleasure, combined with emotional flatness... I looked the same at my dad's funeral as I do when hanging out with a friend or family member watching a movie or winning a computer game (unless I'm faking the expression for convenience). You do see flickers of emotion in Danse's face when he is feeling something very strong, and it is overwhelming his previous control over his thoughts and feelings... similar to how someone very depressed or similar to me might only show the slightest flicker of facial response to very strong emotional stimuli. Honestly, this adds to the significance and heart of the relationship, because it shows that the Sole Survivor is breaking down Danse's robotic walls of repression/suppression and awakening his true individuality, personality, sense of autonomy and being truly alive and sapient, and his emotions.
