Adore squirrels but I have never seen a black one yet.
I feed the two that come in my garden and enjoy watching their idiosyncrasies.....the shock when they see a Magpie or a Jay pitching their monkey nuts .
I put out walnuts in shells, hazelnuts in shell's and peanuts in shells for them and they eat seeds from the many bits feeders I also put out every day.
