Newly for sale is this truly unbelievable 1978 Lincoln Continental, unlike any other you have ever seen. This car has 95 all original miles on the odometer. Not 900, 9,000, or 90,000. Ninety miles. It is the lowest mileage and most original unrestored Lincoln Continental known to exist. The only components on this vehicle that have been altered are a four - inch section of fuel line near the rear that had to be replaced due to leaking, and an inline fuel filter near the front of the car that can easily be returned to factory spec. This Continental is a time capsule that you simply need to see to believe. The full red leather interior is in showroom condition, and the exterior black paint has no blemishes whatsoever. A client purchased this vehicle in 1978 as an additional car in Milwaukee, WI, drove it to a wedding, and parked it for the rest of its life. The car has since been garaged and covered and remained in the estate until 2015. A recent major 200 - point inspection and service were performed, and everything works as it should. Purchasing this car today is essentially buying a brand new 1978 Lincoln Continental. The original window sticker and owner's manual are included. You won’t find another 1978 Lincoln with less than 100 miles on it!

My grandfather had one of these in navy blue. RIP Grandpa. He worked for Ford and grew up and lived in Detroit, as did my mom, uncle, aunt and grandma, and your accent reminds me of them all. It's actually bringing tears to my eyes. Thank you.

Well we don't find them that often! But we have a team of guys that all they do is travel across the country looking for these gorgeous cars. We go through a lot and every once and a while they find a diamond in the rough and we bring it back here! :D

Man my old man had one of those. Was cleaning out some dressers and came across a photo of me and him on my 1st day in school, I still remember that car, the smell of the leather seats, the buttons on the rear door. Pretty sure there was an ashtray in the back too. It was a beauty.

I just traded my 87 5.0 mustang to one of my buddys who traded me a 78 Lincoln like this with only 30000 km on it ive been in and out of the house today cant stop looking at it its pretty dirty from sitting but its in amazing condition reason for trade my buddy baught it from the original owner for his wife she drove it a couple times and decided that it was too big for her my buddy texted me and asked about trading and i didnt even hesitate

The only problem with this car and many big american luxury cars during the 70s was it used up so many gas I remember I had a rich friend who's dad bought a lincon in london and this was during the petrol crisis but a lincon took 12 miles to the gallon!

Hmmm, it does have a V8, but it doesn’t make much power since it’s a 1978 model and ITS SO HEAVY! Lincoln is a Luxury brand, but honestly the Germans fair better.
They minute you put miles on it .....worthless.
Except no. Cars like this are hated, but to today’s generation (18yo replying) these yachts are one of the coolest old cars. I had a 77 Marquis, and now have a 72 Cutlass supreme. Luxury is in. The muscle cars of yesteryear aren’t considered fast anymore so why even try? Get one of these babies and cruise.
