So Mike, I was just watching a Cleteus video and he has a lockup converter on Mullet that is slipping when it's locked up and what they found was a couple of broken, brittle o-rings on the input shaft. I thought you may want to check into that and just see if that maybe your issue as well, good luck brother !!!

What exactly is the trans builder doing to the 80e? Itshouldnt need much more than dual feed the fwd clutches, a decent converter and input shaft to handle that power..
Yo Mike myke a lot of them 2nd stage 4180s tend to have lag it’s a big thing in built GM transmissions that drive train drag could be the 2nd stage trans just a heads up me and my boys out here in IL have a lot of built gm trucks with power and that tends to be a on going issue

They make some rear differential that relocates the suspension and adds a pan hard bar. It looks sick don’t know how it handles tho
Suspension for towing you should look into air ride. You can level it out when towing and drop it to hook if you did decide to do a pull

Give the turborado a bbl n put the rear bumper back on so you can run the factory tow package

Been there auto transmission sucks. Clutch it with a manual problem solved. I personally went through 200r4, 4l60, 4l80s and gave up. Ran away with a t56 and never looked back. Lmao
Yo Mike ik It’s a long shot yk and they be a lil pricey but trust me you want a good trans to hold up what you got or a lil more you should him up triple p they mainly do trans n shit the only bad things is they in Texas but they do ship so honestly if you want a highly good transmisión with no slippage issue I recommended them of the best in Texas when it’s comes to their transmissions
