Hello there. Thank you for the video. One quick question... My Illustrator (Desktop) versioning panel is empty even though the versions show up in the web app. Any idea why?

So it's the same cloud file in both places, but just not showing versions on the desktop? I just tested a couple of files on my end, and I have the same issue. Yikes! And I just went to the community forum and saw your post there, so I will add to it. Hopefully, we'll get some help. I restarted the Creative Cloud desktop app and Illustrator, but there is no solution yet.

So, If I understand you correctly. It's best to save on the cloud. Correct? Because you have revisions. And I think you said we can document. Like say, I wanted to document what font I used. Is that correct?

I am using Adobe Illustrator for Windows 10. I do not have a "cloud" on my menu bar or up on the upper right hand corner of my screen like you do

I'm not saying cloud documents are best, but they have some great features and you have to use them if you also work on the iPad. I like backups of my art, so I make backups of important files as .ai files on my system. I don't want saving my important work completely dependent on the Adobe cloud.

Are you on a subscription plan with Adobe, and are you logged in with your Adobe ID?

@@LauraCoyle Yes. I usually start on the ipad and finish on the PC. I only create SVG's for cutting machines. I save the AI and all related exports for my zip files (digital downloads) on my HD and on the cloud oh and on a portable BU

@@ladycne Great! As long as you have backups in case something happens with Adobe, I think it's so convenient to use Cloud docs.
