This is the best news I've heard in ages. Thank you so much. I am so proud to be natively of Illinois and be represented by such a great guy and hopefully my future president.
Who was this man 2 years ago? Now he wants to run our country? Seriously, who and what was he prior to being a senator? He's only been in the senate for 2 years and we want to consider him for president?!?! Amazing how naive we are.
I am currently reading his book, The Audacity of Hope and I find myself liking him more and more. He seems to be an honest politician if there is such a thing.
Everytime we get a hopeful President or Presidential candidate, someone in the shadow govt comes along and puts an end to it. We miss you John and Bobby!
I support you Obama, and I wish I can donate to your cause, but with things they are with everything, I can't right now, but will try soon. God Bless you and I will fallow you, when you become leader of this state. God Speed, Obama, God Speed.
Barack Obama is what this country needs, in many many ways. Everyword he speaks rings true to me. We are American's first not Republican's and Demnocrat's. Let's stand together. Obama in 2008!
Barack, you are the first political candidate I've felt this strongly about in my 38 years. I believe your goals and intentions are just, and you will get my vote in 2008.
Greetings from Finland, Europe. Today there was a 4-page article on the second largest newspaper Aamulehti about Barack Obama. He was compared to great men who changed the history like Robert Kennedy and Martin Luther King. Also Europe needs this man! So please, vote!!!
Me and my Entire Family believe in you Barack Obama. We also read about your family time line on google. You have a blessed timeline, and wish the best for you! Sincerly Kawoin Thrasher.
I really love the theory behind his campaign. Its inspiring and pretty freaking awesome. I just hope he follows through with it. I really hope he does, but I've been dissappointed so many times, I dont even want to get my hopes up. I hope he becomes president and keeps his word.
Obama, as only a Junior Senator, has already passed legislation reforming Congressional relationships with lobbyists, passed legislation that secured increased funding for our Veterans, and passed nuclear nonproliferation legislation. He helped reform criminal justice system in Illinois and helped get healthcare to more poor families. He earned a law degree from one of the finest universities in the world!
when i was born i had a three and a half inch eyebrow, this bothered me because i dreamt of joining a beauty pagent one day, but i am a man, and now i love black men. go obama!
i feel way better and more excited about Kucinich. he speaks more deeply and provocatively; he feels more real and honest and has profound conviction. but i do like the clarity and intelligence in obama's voice.. if obama is our only option as dem candidate, i would vote for him.
I live in Sweden, a second generation immigrant and I´ve followed the worsening situation for immigrants in every day life: we don´t get jobs as easily as Swedes, the social economic help lessens, etc. What we need is a minority group strong LEADER and I hope Barack Obama will be a pioneer role model for this position even for us living in Sweden
"You live in a society. Respect it. Or it won't respect you." Just thought I would re-iterate words well said. I'll quote you on that one Circumpolar. I agree.
How am I the only one to have fused WWE wrestler The Rock with Barack Obama? They have extremely similar looks & voices. I thought someone youtuber would have jumped on that ages ago.
As the Illinois senator concluded his remarks a few minutes later, he appeared to realize his gaffe. "There are going to be times when I get tired," he said. "There are going to be times when I get weary. There are going to be times when I make mistakes." Obama spokesman Bill Burton said later that the senator meant to say "at least 10," instead of 10,000.
I am canadian and I want change for my north american neighboors. Please vote for Obama because I can't. I want you change for the world and we know that america is a big part of that world. I believe that Mr.Obama can bring not only change for america but change for the world.
What is most concerning for me is the current people in politics. I'm a 38 year old Black Man, and all I see is people who are way to willing to exclude people. I don't see that in OBAMA. He is the only person I have ever seen that talks about inclusion of all people. not just those who happen to agree with you. You can tell he means that, It's not just a good sound bit. May this man be put in the white house and show people how a multi-cultural Country should be run. God Bless and keep OBAMA.
Just because you have a close, personal relationship with someone, DOES NOT mean that you agree with all of their beliefs. Think about your best friend, do you not disagree on some major things? Do they possibly have opinions that horrify you, but yet do not make them a horrible person? No one is perfect, that includes political bigshots. We, as Americans, need not waste our time will foolish and futile distractions, we need to elect Barack Obama, and fulfil our great nation's potential.
Very nice. And I like how you are reaching out online. Keep up the good ideas and make things happen and u'll have my vote. thus far, you've def. caught my eye and have my interest. Good Luck
"This conjunction of an immense military establishment and a large arms industry is new in the American experience ... In the councils of government, we must guard against the acquisition of unwarranted influence, whether sought or unsought, by the military-industrial complex. The potential for the disastrous rise of misplaced power exists and will persist. We must never let the weight of this combination endanger our liberties or democratic process." Pres Dwight Eisenhower, January 17, 1961
I am in the United States Air Force....I fight everyday for this great country....I beleive the best thing for America is without a doubt Obama! We need a change! You have my vote!
Barak Obama got my vote. He is a unique politiican that doesn't follow stupid partisan party platform. He identifies himself as a Democrat but I don't really label him a liberal. He is in fact moderate. Very much reminds me of JFK. We need a president like this to boost the morale of United States. He is the change we need like the change needed before JFK was president.
hi, i'm a 15 year old venezuelan guy that's gonna give an opinion about Obama, english is not my language so mistakes are normal, i guess... i think americans won't let him win because he's black (i'm not racist) but i think obama would be a great president, the president that the united states needs, supporting middle class and low class people, that's how it should be... no more war, no more deaths just for showing the world how powerfull united states is
anyone saying he has too little experience for presidency is probably very wrong, you need to be pragmatic, have eye for the littler things that affect the population, and have an open mind. that he's done community work to help the less fortunate is a sign that he CARES about more than corporate businesses. his "lack" of experience comes to good use here: you can be pretty sure he's not as corrupt (or corrupt at all) as other politicians.
For all of you bantering about the Muslim bit: He went to an Open Muslim ELEMENTARY SCHOOL which didn't have any religious classes or push views, and was open to the public.
I lived my youth under the state in east Germany. The horror of totalitarian rule can't be described. You have no movies, to depict the fear, the loneliness, the despair, the loss of hope that was German life. Honecker, our leader was no more evil and no less affable than those who bring you the same authoritarian rule which you passionately receive. Of all your candidates, you have only one angel of freedom, Ron Paul, and you mock him with contempt. Read Bastiat's "The Law"
Im 25 years old, and dropped out of college due to a dream job, I think I'm not going to vote for him simply because of his ideas on healthcare. I had back surgery back when I was in HS, and NO healthcare company wants to insure me because of my back surgery, until he fixes that problem, he doesn't have my vote.
Change our politics? a: the art or science of government b : the art or science concerned with guiding or influencing governmental policy c : the art or science concerned with winning and holding control over a government Yes, perhaps we should go back to the beginning
This is my guy, I think! I like Edwards, too, but the fact that Obama was against the war from the start, makes me feel more secure about him than Edwards, who DID support the war at the beginning.
cont... John McCain's 26 years in Congress, 22 years of military service including 1,966 days in captivity as a POW in Hanoi now seem more impressive than ever. At 71, John McCain may just be hitting his stride.

I agree. He proves his heart and strong devotion through the way he presents himself, delivers speeches, and debates issues. He made it into public office for the first time through a grassroots campaign, not seen since Wellstone. Those who have met him or are close with him all have the same account of his charisma. JFK had the same amount of experience as Obama when he was elected. I'm sure the war hero status helped however.
People like you make me proud to be an American! You got my vote Mr Obama..or should i say Mr Future President. Your not only our Future president your my Best Friend!
Greetings from Switzerland (Europe) I think that Barack Obama should be president due to his youth and decisive personality. And i don't believe being inexperienced is a bad thing i mean JFK was inexperienced and he did a great job!
THE NEXT PRESIDENT. An educated policitian with a universal concern to better not only this nation but every race and class, religion and age. A humble, but confident man who symbolizes the beauty of America. Go get em' "LeBron"!
When looking at all the important issues facing our next President, energy, foreign relations, Iraq, etc... he's arguably the most qualified to deal with each issue. Add in the fact that he also has executive experience, and the choice is clear, Bill Richardson should be our next President!
I have to say, I'm a conservative and will never vote democrat. But if it were a decision between Obama or Hillary, I would MUCH MUCH MUCH rather have Obama in the office.
For those of you saying him having his middle name "Hussein": Let's look at the true meaning of Hussein. Hussein translates to "handsome one" (funny enough) The first political leader with the name Hussein, was King Hussein of Jordan who devoted his life to peace with Israel. Those of you saying it has ties with the now infamous Saddam Hussein, are either uneducated or ignorant on the context.
Obama is probably the most talented political speakers in history. His campaign has been better than Clinton's or McCain's but one thing that a professor in my university told me is that his optional public health care policy won't work though. If there is the option for the rich in the U.S. to decide whether to pay or not pay for public health care, they will not pay and the system will be underfunded. Despite Clinton's serious flaws, her mandatory public health care taxation will work.
This man is exactly what this country needs! VOTE OBAMA!
he's the most trustable person I've heard who may be running so far.
He is the best. The world will listen to him
Wow, whoever encoded this video for TH-cam did a great job. Good sound and picture.
This is the best news I've heard in ages. Thank you so much. I am so proud to be natively of Illinois and be represented by such a great guy and hopefully my future president.
vote 4 obama 4 less drama :) 08
Iraq war veteran here and I love this man!!!

was this his first ad? wheres the one where he announces his bid for the presidency, sittin on a couch at home?
if you just close your eyes and listen, he's got such a nice voice
There's one thing Obama has that no other candiate had, a new, fresh attitude in solving the problems of the world.
I support you Obama, and I wish I can donate to your cause, but with things they are with everything, I can't right now, but will try soon. God Bless you and I will fallow you, when you become leader of this state. God Speed, Obama, God Speed.
I love how he talks, it sounds sort of leaderish.
Thank you Scot and Beth in Winterhave, Florida for the great OBAMA 08 t shirt. Wearing it with pride. Kevin, London UK
He's my #1 too!
Barack Obama is what this country needs, in many many ways. Everyword he speaks rings true to me. We are American's first not Republican's and Demnocrat's. Let's stand together. Obama in 2008!

"In Change, We can believe in"
Barack, you are the first political candidate I've felt this strongly about in my 38 years. I believe your goals and intentions are just, and you will get my vote in 2008.

Norway stands behind OBAMA!
Go for it, don't miss a guy like this!

Do his plans include releasing his SAT scores and university transcripts?

Gun control doesn't mean that you can't own a gun, it just changes the process so that we can try to avoid tragedies like Columbine again.
You have my vote. If i'm not too unmotivated to go out and vote..
Obama-Clark. Combination of visionary leadership and foreign-policy experience. Who would vote against this divine pairing?
Very nice. And I like how you are reaching out online. Keep up the good ideas and make things happen and u'll have my vote. thus far, you've def. caught my eye and have my interest. Good Luck
canada loves obama. for the first time in awhile - i have faith that the world can change.
Yes please Mr. Obama, this country needs someone with a WORLD view and a long term outlook, I think you're the best person for the job!!

Godspeed Mr. Obama. I support you 100% & support your ideas to change this country & put it back on its feet.
In October are the USA's elections??
Get Louis Faracon as a running mate and you'll go all the way.
I support you. Please come and serve this great country. Its a full time job and I will work hard to follow the path you set forth. You can do it!
One day there will be a movie called Obama about his achievements. In the meantime look forward to seeing him at the White house.
You are 100% right. Thanks for a great post.

as a non amerikan i shouldent realy comment, but this guy seems right for your country. he seems real, honest and could be the best thing for usa
Can't wait for my B.O. magazine to come in.
Obama is one of the greatest speakers ever.
"It's simply foolish to think that the President isn't an intelligent man and a diligent leader."
Do you live under a rock?
Good for you alpenjon. We too could finally respect our president again.
For all of you bantering about the Muslim bit:

Great comment, shortfu. You are spot on!
One things for sure, he has more brains and guts than any of the air heads that vent racial hatred on internet message boards!

I am very sorry to hear about your leg. I truely am, but how does an injury give you insight on what we are support to do in this war.
I love how other countries understand our country more than we do.
You're right! I wish we had European-style governments!
