Comedy Central commercials (August 13, 1997)

From my personal collection (Tape #1042). These commercials aired alongside the premiere of South Park. As of the time I'm posting these, South Park will be premiering its twenty-sixth season in a matter of days. Time flies, enjoy!

What you're seeing from this upload is countless hours of wrestling with the tracking of a damaged VHS tape. The actual magnetic tape has been wrinkled and warped along where the tracking control would be read from and is a nightmare to play back on any VCR. I've captured using multiple pieces of equipment, stitched the best pieces together and have done my best to preserve the contents of this very historical recording. I'm happy with how it's turned out, regardless of if the picture is jumpy or fuzzy. It's the best we'll get from it. Enjoy this very sought-after moment of television history!
