Another beautifully thought out piece of timber harvesting equipment. Tigercat, machines built for when you're serious about logging. When are we going to see a video on the 180 yarder?
In our area with a winch and 35.5’s they are 295,000 that’s what our dealer told us last week when he came by with some filters so I could service loader and cutter
Funny how Tigercat puts a Ponsse H8 on an 1165, and then reveals a new harvester head that salesman freely admit was very closely patterned after the H8. Also funny how they come out with a comfort grip style joystick. Salesman also admit that the 1165 was patterned after the 8 wheel ergo as far as engine, pump, and crane specs go. Come up with your own system for once

Rolling out new machines while existing customers are on long term waiting lists to buy a new undercarriage
This harvester head is based on "Skogsjan" From the early 80's.
No, it’s based on Hemek harvesting head
Skogsjan were bought by Cat, then sold to Logmax/Ecolog
Damn. What a nice and well thought out machine.
What is the ballpark price in US dollars?
At least 600 grand!!
Thats pretty competitive to a Ponsse scorpion king in reality
Does anyone know what a new 620H would cost?

There is nothing strange. Such a solution is quite common, and even standard.
