Great vide. I love theory conversations on jiujitsu. I like that the question is "how to study jiujitsu", not just "how to get better", because I think that's what we are all doing, studying. We're never really using jiujitsu, not even competition, we are just practicing and testing.

You the man! This is exactly what i do to learn! Ima
1111 blue. Shld have my purp soon! I started with ½ Guard, more specifically lockdown. All I could do as white belt is try and hold on lol. I cought many upper belts with my electric chair lol Watching tons of Eddie and brandon.ninja. My over under is because of you, curently my best pass! & deep ½!
Now I study all the greats! Find why they were or are so good and try to adapt it to my game. I'm def ½ guard player but I've learned how to link it with other guards. Jus like Gorden shows on bjjfanatics! I would say my game has progressed allot since I started and much quicker than my team mates who only come to class to learn and no film study. I jus wanted to say thank you! Jiu-jitsu has saved my life. You've been a big part of that! Oss
