Agreed, way too many people have embedded into their own minds that after End Game, it'll all be downhill and will never reach the mountain top again, and many of those same people/reaction channels keep this narrative going which gives newbies this preconceived notion that's how the rest of the movies are, what those same people don't seem to realize that all those movies before End Game, there were also some bad and disappointing ones during that time as well, but all are good enough quality to watch and stay informed, just as everything after End Game will be. 🤔
One of the most accurate casting choices for any film role ever was JK Simmons as J Jonah Jameson. It's completely understandable that they wouldn't change that for these new Spider-man films.
I love that you're speeding through these movies. I hated having to wait a week between each movie among other reactors, but now that the MCU has taken a pause, it's fun to relive these moments with fresh content.

20:04 after 5 years I just noticed this detail about "Nick Fury" whom it's actually a skrull saying "Beck is from Earth, but not YOURS" instead of "OURS"
And Natasha's death, and Cap's retirement, and Clint probably wants to spend time with his family, having missed them for five years, and Thor out in space somewhere. So I guess if they really want to officially reform the Avengers, there's Hulk, Iron Patriot, Falcon, Winter Soldier, Ant-Man, and maybe Wasp. Dr. Strange is probably doing his own thing, but he could be a reserve member, maybe. And of course, there are a few others around that might be recruited.
When watching this movie keep this in mind the Stark defense drones that Edith is controlling is more advanced and deadly than the Ultron box in age of Ultron which took all of the Avengers plus Wanda Quicksilver and the vision to defeat. Spider-Man was able to beat them on his own.
20:07 Fun fact the Mainline Marvel Continuity from the comics is known as Earth-616 with any alternate timelines that branch off from the reality being given differant designations. There's also just separate universes like Earth-1610 better known as the Ultimate Universe created in the year 2000 as a re-imagined and modernized new continuity beginning with Ultimate Spider-Man. This allowed Marvel to rework any origins and storylines for their characters while also allowing new readers a way to jump into Marvel comics without having to worry about decades worth of storylines. A Reboot in a way that released alongside the Mainline Comics rather than replacing them. And of course we have the MCU unofficially known as Earth-199999 but over the past few years has been named Earth-616 even though that's the designation of the Mainline comics. The MCU is very much it's own universe beyond the Mainline Comics and has even been referenced in the comics as well. Stuff like the amazing X-Men 97 (2024) is also set within it's own continuity, apart of the MAU (Marvel Animated Universe) of the 1990s. This whole connected animated universe was much the MCU if Marvel had all the rights to their characters from the beginning. The designations just help keep track of all the universes and timelines within the multiverse but can be confusing for new fans.
yea watching the next spidey move WITHOUT watching ALL the previous spider man movies would be like watching Infinity wars and Endgame WITHOUT watching the previous MCU films.. still a good movie.. but you will be lost and you wont appreciate it as much. buy if you have all the back knowledge and context, it turns into an AMAZING experience.
I cant believe I didnt realize it sooner. Earlier in the movie peter said: *THE NEWS NEVER LIE* At the end of the movie on the news: Spider man murders mysterio and his real name is peter parker
Great reaction you two! 😊 This movie was a great conclusion to Phase 3(which is known as the Infinity Saga). Tom Holland does a great job portraying Peter Parker while still dealing with the loss of Tony. And seeing him go out on his own as Spider-Man. And Jake Gyllenhaal as Mysterio is fantastic in this movie. The scene with Peter and Happy on the plane talking about missing Tony is one of my favorite moments. I love how Happy puts on the song "Back in Black" by AC/DC(the first song played in the first "Iron Man" movie) while Peter is making his new Spider-Man suit. 1:06:51 - 1:07:34 Yes. The two Skrulls that were impersonating Nick Fury and Maria Hill were Talos and his wife Soren. The two Skrulls that Fury and Carol befriended in "Captain Marvel". This is a set up for a future MCU project. And I loved that you both recognized J.K. Simmons' character J. Jonah Jameson. Before getting to "Spider-Man: No Way Home" it's very highly recommended that you two revisit the Tobey Maguire Spider-Man trilogy, and watch the two Andrew Garfield Spider-Man movies if you haven't seen them already. Up next the beginning of Phase 4 with the first Disney+ show "WandaVision". Looking forward to the next reaction. 😊

Glad you enjoyed it! There is this weird, unfair online criticism of this one for some reason, but it's great. Even if it might be considered the "weakest" (which is subjective anyway) by many of the Spider-Man films doesn't mean it's not a really good film. Also, keep watching the MCU content. I allowed some of the online reactions to keep me away from some later shows/films and have recently been catching up on them. And from my watch experience so far, the online criticism is greatly exaggerated. Haven't watched anything I consider bad yet with a couple more shows/movies to go. IMO, Infinity War/Endgame were so great, that expectations were simply too high moving forward.
Ok, the two of you HAVE to watch "The Fifth Element" now. Especially, considering Sam was Cosplaying Bruce Willis' character from that movie during this reaction.

In Captain America: The Winter Soldier, Zola as a computer flashed Howard Stark’s photo on screen as he mentioned “accidental deaths” caused manually by them. Hope you guys see this!
Tristan, man, you are waaaay off about the theory about Tony thinking Peter would screw up. Peter screwed up because he misunderstood the message in Tony's letter. That's why he repeated part of it before giving the glasses up. He thought Tony meant to find the next Tony Stark. Tony wanted Peter to be the next Tony Stark when he was ready and entrusted the glasses to him.
For fans of the Spider-man comics Mysterio is a classic villain. So fans knew going into the movie he wasn’t a good guy and had to keep it secret from people who didn’t know his background as Mysterio: Master of Illusion. The next movie Spider-man: No Way Home movie is the ultimate masterpiece of all 3 films. Happy viewing.
There it is... the end of phase 3 of the MCU and the end of the Infinity Saga. I hope you guys read the release order list for phase 4 I commented on your Endgame part 1 reaction
Now would be a great time to power through the (formerly Netflix) MCU street level stories...they all took place after the first Avengers film and are set in NYC. Some of the characters are being pulled into the official MCU, so watching them now will only increase your enjoyment of what is coming up in the MCU and prevent you from being clueless about some folks who will be appearing.
I always knew Mysterio was a faker. He's been a villain ever since the comics and he had no powers, it was just an illusion. But I love how many people were suprised by the revelation here
So many "DC" fan boys tricking Marvel reactors into thinking that the MCU isn't worth following..... Falcon and the Winter soldier/Wanda Vision /Hawkeye/and LOKI seasons 1&2... Black Panther Wakanda Forever.... Black Widow, DR Strange Multiverse of Madness...
Before you watch the next MCU Spiderman Movie you should watch Spiderman 1 , 2 , 3 with Tobby Maguire and The Amazing Spiderman 1 and 2 with Andrew Garfield.
I do recommend the Netflix circa 2015 series, as well. "Daredevil" (*not* the 2003 movie), "Jessica Jones", "Luke Cage", "Iron Fist", and "Defenders". You will not be disappointed. There is a Watch Order though as the series are interwoven with each other.
3:33 my though is, like if people came back in the same place where blipped, what about the ones who have been in cars, plane or any other type of transportation? The another one is a little more funny: for sure during the Thanos's snap there were couples doing their things and some of them for sure blipped, and during the 5 year span the owners of the apartments/houses changed and after endgame the blipped one reappeared naked in the same apartment/house but with other people
Yeah, reappearing from the blip raises a lot of questions and potential problems. Did Spiderman and the GotG reappear on Titan with no ship they could leave in? Suppose you're in the shower when you turn to dust, and then a few years later, the building is torn down, or converted into something else. So you come back naked where your bathroom used to be, but now it's an office building. Also, what happens to everyone's bank accounts? All the property and stuff they owned? If they're gone, it's probably all sold off or donated to charity (and there will be a LOT of people who needed that charity). So you come back with the clothes you were wearing and whatever you had on you at the time, but have nothing else at all - no home, no job, not even other clothes to change into. But of course, when Bruce snapped his fingers, things were arranged as he wanted them to, so people in airplanes wouldn't appear in the air, and Spidey and others could reappear somewhere reasonably safe. They could make a whole full-length movie, or even another TV series, just dealing with everyone coming back from the Blip. Perhaps with minimal or no superhero presence at all. I think that would make an interesting movie/show.
You guys will have to start watching the tv shows along with the movies in Phase 4. WandaVision, Loki 1 and 2, and Hawkeye are excellent as are a couple of shows with new characters.
@@toshtao1 Torture them? If they continue with MCU, the shows are as important as the movies and most of the shows are better than some of the next movies. You're torturing me with your ridiculous comment.
@@toshtao1 I totally agree with you about She-Hulk. The wokeness was one problem. The finale was the worst thing I've ever seen. I was in the minority about Secret Invasion and really liked it. Regardless, WandaVision was excellent and vital in the MCU timeline connecting to Dr. Strange. And they said they're next watching Scarlett Witch, which is already the wrong order. They must watch Wanda Vision, Falcon and Winter Soldier, and Loki Season 1 before Scarlett Witch, which leads into Hawkeye. If they skip the shows, I will skip their reactions.
The next spiderman is the best. Just make sure you have seen all the previous ones first. You could watch the next spiderman if you’ve seen the previous ones but you need to see Wanda vision before doctor strange multiverse of madness
there's some really awesome mcu projects in the pipeline after this one. just like in the previous phases, there's some good and bad but all are worth watching. the difference is, now there are tv shows added to the mix that continue the storyline. wandavision, loki, are excellent shows that continue the story after endgame. moon knight, ms marvel, and echo, our shows that introduce new characters that will be important moving forward. you will not regret continuing on with the mcu despite what some are saying.
I agree with both of you that Jake Gyllenhaal is a great actor. You should check out one of those earlier rolls in the movie October sky. It is by far and away my favorite rolls that he's played.
Thor left Earth to travel the universe with the Guardians Of The Galaxy. Doctor Strange could lead the team, but I don't think he ever actually joined them. TBH as far as I'm aware it's still unconfirmed whether the Avengers still exist as a team post-Endgame since all the former members are either dead, retired, or off doing their own thing.
The problem with Wandavision and Loki and lot of the other new marvels titles (imo) is that they introduce a lot of new characters and make references to the comics, that ppl who haven't gotten into it wouldn't get. Shows like Ms Marvel or She hulk i would've never got into if it didn't have familiar characters in it. I would totally get it if they skip a few shows and movies (Thor Love and Thunder etc.)😂 Edit: also having the time to watch a New Rockstar video breaking down each movie or show helped a lot.
If you guys haven’t seen the old spider man movies y’all should watch them before the next mcu spider man movie. It helps understand it a little better
Guys! Before doing Wandavision you HAVE to watch all the X-Men saga starting from X-Men (2000), and then Deadpool if you want, and then Wandavision. I wont say more. Please!!! ;)
funny how you said Fury could be a skrull. in the comics there was a story arc where the skrulls had infiltrated earth decades ago and some prominent people were actually skrulls. Skrulls are not bad or good. Niether are the Kree. they hate each other, and like all world powers, they just want to conquer the next area.
Now would probably be a good idea to sprinkle in a few episodes of Daredevil before you get to Spider-Man No Way Home. If you do, be sure your parental guidance is off

I don't know if you know this, but JK Simmons's character is actually based on Stan Lee himself...
I do recommend the Netflix circa 2015 series, as well. "Daredevil" (*not* the 2003 movie), "Jessica Jones", "Luke Cage", "Iron Fist", and "Defenders". You will not be disappointed. There is a Watch Order though as the series are interwoven with each other.
...there's a distinct lack of Punisher on that list and it's one of the better street level shows...
Before continuing you must react to the video: "Marvel Studios celebrates movies."
Excited for ShangChi next🔥🔥
That's not next. But I'm also looking forward to that
@@accordgolfer Yea, I forgot Black widow. More like I SKIPPED.💀
@@Genya007it's 6th on the list of upcoming MCU projects.
Am glad mcu show mysterio to the live action.
Sad Fact: This is the first MCU movie “without” a Stan Lee cameo.
Fury it's not on earth since captain America winter soldier, remember he made a fake death
Don't miss Loki series as well. We will see the story line of Loki that escaped the Endgame during time heist.
Why don’t you just keep that to yourself? Let them react to the the entire thing. They wondered about that and you spoiled
I mean Phase 4 contains some of my favourite MCU movies and series so defo continue.
No, they don't. Don't torture them.
@@toshtao1 Torture them? If they continue with MCU, the shows are as important as the movies and most of the shows are better than some of the next movies. You're torturing me with your ridiculous comment.
@@dsscam They NEED to skip the bad stuff. They WILL begin to hate Marvel if you make them watch stuff like She Hulk or Secret Invasion.
I hope yall watch the amazing spider man 1 and 2 and the venom movies before no way home
The next spiderman is the best. Just make sure you have seen all the previous ones first. You could watch the next spiderman if you’ve seen the previous ones but you need to see Wanda vision before doctor strange multiverse of madness
Gotta remember that Peter Parker in the comics is a massive nerd lol. He just seems cool to us but in his universe he's awkward as fuck.
41:30 MJ Saw Peter in the bus
the amazing spider man 1 and 2 need to be watched!!! :)
It was zombie Tony lol😅..well a hologram of zombie Ironman anyway
there's some really awesome mcu projects in the pipeline after this one. just like in the previous phases, there's some good and bad but all are worth watching. the difference is, now there are tv shows added to the mix that continue the storyline. wandavision, loki, are excellent shows that continue the story after endgame. moon knight, ms marvel, and echo, our shows that introduce new characters that will be important moving forward. you will not regret continuing on with the mcu despite what some are saying.
Remember to watch Loki season one and two, WandaVision and the falcon and the Winter soldier, before Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of madness
Mysterio he does have powers in the comics he has the do illusions
Imagine if Nick Fury is a scroll 46:31
I agree with both of you that Jake Gyllenhaal is a great actor. You should check out one of those earlier rolls in the movie October sky. It is by far and away my favorite rolls that he's played.
u r forgetting about doctor strange...he can be a lead avenger and also thor
Thor left Earth to travel the universe with the Guardians Of The Galaxy. Doctor Strange could lead the team, but I don't think he ever actually joined them. TBH as far as I'm aware it's still unconfirmed whether the Avengers still exist as a team post-Endgame since all the former members are either dead, retired, or off doing their own thing.
The real villian of the movie is Brad!
you guys should watch Dune 1 & 2
The problem with Wandavision and Loki and lot of the other new marvels titles (imo) is that they introduce a lot of new characters and make references to the comics, that ppl who haven't gotten into it wouldn't get. Shows like Ms Marvel or She hulk i would've never got into if it didn't have familiar characters in it.
I would totally get it if they skip a few shows and movies (Thor Love and Thunder etc.)😂
Edit: also having the time to watch a New Rockstar video breaking down each movie or show helped a lot.
I agree with the first part but they shouldn’t skip anything. Eventually it’ll all connect and skipping just confuses
26:11 Did you how Strong Peter is?
If you guys haven’t seen the old spider man movies y’all should watch them before the next mcu spider man movie. It helps understand it a little better
Guys! Before doing Wandavision you HAVE to watch all the X-Men saga starting from X-Men (2000), and then Deadpool if you want, and then Wandavision. I wont say more. Please!!! ;)
4:45 is it tho, its the first time hearing that usually its the oposite
You really should watch Wandavision before the next Dr. Strange movie.
funny how you said Fury could be a skrull. in the comics there was a story arc where the skrulls had infiltrated earth decades ago and some prominent people were actually skrulls. Skrulls are not bad or good. Niether are the Kree. they hate each other, and like all world powers, they just want to conquer the next area.
Definitely react to the amazing Spider-Man, before no way home
It wasn't obvious to comics fans Mysterio is a villain in the comics
Please keep watching!
The next Spider-Man will be even better than this one.
Now would probably be a good idea to sprinkle in a few episodes of Daredevil before you get to Spider-Man No Way Home. If you do, be sure your parental guidance is off
How could he get picked up by Nick when he didn't call him. That was the whole point he went to Berlin. You didn't notice that huh?
Hope they react to the other spider-man movies before getting to no way home.
Good Morrow Coolest tandem Sam & Tristan, sorry I don't know your a couple or siblings anyway I Love your reactions with the Avengers Movies, if you wanna see a young Tom Holland in a different true story movie, watch " THE IMPOSSIBLE" for a change. Of you guys like, keep safe & cool.
Spiderman
Spiderman 2
Spiderman 3
Amazing spiderman
Amazing spiderman 2 then watch
Spiderman no way home
Before you watch the 3rd Tom Holland Spider-Man film called “No Way Home”, you have to watch the Toby Maguire and Andrew Garfield Spider-Man films. It will help you understand No Way Home. Especially the sad Andrew Garfield moment. 😢
bruh dont spoil with the end of the comment
Great Reaction! You should watch "The Amazing Spiderman" 1 and 2 before watching "Spiderman No Way Home" and maybe revisit the Original Trilogy.
Please watch all the previous spiderman movies before spiderman no way home
This was such a great movie ❤❤
Please watch old spiderman movies before next spiderman movie...😅😅😅
Skip ahead to No Way Home.
