I have 3 of these exact generators in my Toy haulers.. .. I run straight 30W Royal Purple and change oil every 50 to 60 hrs .. they run a lot in super cold and super hot weather.. each have hit 5000 hrs and still run perfect…. One has been running for 9 days straight here in South east Ga, while I wait for rv resort to fix my shore power.. they’re kind enough to pay for my gas lol.. maintenance, maintenance maintenance is key.. and these things will run forever …. Carbs can be finicky. Code 36 can be a nightmare to diagnose.. but love these generators..

Thanks! Great step by step. Much appreciated. I did receive an owner’s manual but it was oil soaked and disintegrated when I opened the pages. It is totally useless. So this video is a definite must see👍🏻, keep ‘em coming. Good luck, racing!

Great videos would you do an air filter change on the main engine and the generator?

The factory says 1.6 quarts of oil why would you use less or more ?

A little less oil is better than too much.
1.5 put it well into the safe zone. Leaves me the half quart for the next change.
Too much oil adds windage or drag, that adds heat, also can foam your oil giving less protection. Thanks for watching.
