As a lifelong Democrat who’s voted in every election and midterm since I turned 18, I have to say I haven’t been this excited and energized since Bernie’s 2016 run! I’ve been supporting the Harris campaign and can’t wait to vote for Harris/Walz in November. I didn’t know much about Walz until just a few weeks ago, but after looking into his record, it’s clear he’s a stand-up guy and a great Governor. His work on education, LGBT rights, and reproductive healthcare really stands out to me. Plus, his tax cuts for working families, expansion of paid sick days, and banning of non-compete agreements are huge wins. Minnesota’s lucky to have such an honorable, strong, and compassionate Governor, and I’m sure America will be better off with him as our Vice President.
