So cool to see a new video from you ! We know you had or may still have personal difficulties and we hope everything is well or better for,you now. Anyway this video made my day. Welcome back Jeff and thank you
This is awesome! What kind of paper did you use in this video? Just wondering because with the heavy saturation of ink you did in some parts of it, it didn’t wrinkle at all so I’m thinking it was something quite thick like a watercolor paper.
Thnks for the treat of watching you work (specially with inks!) I've said this once, but some time ago I've found your channel and that took me out of my years long drawing torpor. The part about patience made me chuckle as I've been in a pointillist period (for the values when shading) for the last months, avoiding pure black if I can . Been using one of my old guillot pens for the linear and several sizes of felt pens for the dots. It is, as you say, most relaxing.
Hmmmm, that's difficult to say. I filmed this over the course of a few days so I'm not sure exactly. But it's probably in the are of 8-10 hours of work.
Sorry to hear about your parent. But glad you're back to share amazing art again
I appreciate that. Thank you.
A new Jeff Miracola video is like seeing a longtime friend!
@@prettynoose8497 thanks friend :-)

The video is less than 20 minutes. How long did it really take to sketch and ink?

what paper you use?
@@daveydangr it’s Arches watercolor paper.
See you in another 2 years.
LMAO. Nah, I'm back now. Taking care of a parent with dementia really upended my life for a while.
@@jeffmiracolaartist moving in to something like that myself. Prayers are appreciated.
Your both in good company, godspeed and thanks for being caregivers 🙏
