I like the little bits of purple in a couple of your cards! 💜😁 Tip on de-stickifying the stickers: put your foam tape on the back first, then add a bit of powder afterwards to any exposed adhesive. That way your foam tape will still adhere. 😊🌻
Thanks for sharing your card ideas. Loved hearing your tulip story. I live in a Dutch community. We have an annual May Tulip Time which we missed last year due to the pandemic. Hope we are able to enjoy the celebration this year.
Hiya, Mount Vernon-ite here. The word I'm hearing is they will be open with limitations. If you look up the Skagit Valley Tulip Festival you'll likely get the info, and it will likely lead you to the growers info too. I do know the Kiwanis Salmon BBQ was cancelled again (sob!) but Art in the Barn was contemplating being open.
Beautiful cards, as always. I just received my first set of peel offs from Lizi yesterday. They're even more beautiful in person! I can't wait to add them to my cards. I've actually been to/through Mt. Vernon WA many times! My BFF lives about 30 miles northeast of Bellingham, so we drive right through there each way going to and from SeaTac. It would actually be closer for me to fly into Vancouver, but flying into SeaTac used to give us a chance to stop at Impress for a bit of stamping retail therapy. Sadly, it looks like both of their storefronts have permanently closed now though. 🙁
@@halomom1 They're still open as an online store, but both the Seattle and Tuwila brick and mortar stores are showing as permanently closed on Google Maps. 🙁
My favorfte was the "In Full Bloom" card with the wooden flower. The dark yellow was a neat contrast to all the pastels in the other cards. I so appreciate all the little tips I'm gleaning from your videos, thank you!

I tried adding the card stock on the back to "keep everything even" = game changer. WOW what a difference!! Also, just received my very first shipment from Love from Lizi. I bought peel offs. you have influenced me. This makes you a TH-cam influencer, right? Love your channel.
The little scraps of cardstock really do make a big difference. I know it takes longer, but it's worth it. Yay for receiving your first order of Lizi's peel offs. Aren't they awesome? Yes, I'm a bit of an influencer. Lol! Just sharing things I love though.

Love the cards! I can't wait until the flowers start blooming. After the ice and snow storm we had the middle of February it was nice to have clear blue skies and sunny for a couple of days. Back to rain then hopefully spring will start showing it's beautiful colors!

I am loving this as a new hobby, but I cannot find the answer to just one question - WHAT GOES ON THE INSIDE? This has become a total source of anxiety for me.
Some people like to decorate the inside of their cards. I'll add a strip of pattern paper if I have extra. Otherwise, I simply add a stamped sentiment. I like to wait until I know who the card recipient is before adding anything to the inside.

Do you ever have trouble with your atg tape breaking? I recently bought an atg. The tape is the cheaper version on Amazon, not 3M. On the last roll, I dropped the gun, and when I picked it up, the tape was broken. On my current roll, I don’t remember dropping it, but tape is broken. I tried putting it together with glue dots, but it didn’t hold. I ended up taking the roll off the gun, and using it like tear and tape, which is a pain. Do you have any suggestions? I do notice that when it is on the roller, it is very much to the front edge of the roller. Not sure if that makes a difference, but I don’t know how to change that. I would appreciate any suggestions.
I think the problem may be the tape. There are lots of generic brands available and some aren't the best. I buy the Tape Jungle brand refills. Their prices are very reasonable and I've had maybe a couple bad rolls in the 10 years I've been buying their tape. They have excellent customer service and fast shipping. We love the tulip festival. We live in Coquitlam which is about an hour and a bit away.
The tulip festival is always fun. The fields are open this year. You do have to buy tickets in advance though.
I don’t think the borders will be open. It is hard to believe that they have been closed for almost a year!

You should put your adhesive on the stickers first then use your anti static powder. Sometimes the powder prohibits the adhesive from sticking.
I'm not sure what I was thinking adding the powder first. Lol!
