I’m so grateful you have done this video as I need to change the lower control arms, upper strut mount, coil spring, shock and anti sway bar connectors on my A6 C6. The upper control arms were changed 2 years ago so I don’t need to change them but I am worried I need to take off that 4 inch pinch bolt and it being stuck. I am thinking of removing the bolts that are connected to the top of the strut. Do you think this is achievable given there is less space in the back of the wheel arch?

Thanks for the support. When i did the other side it was a struggle but i got the hang of it and i thought it would help others a lot. Watch the video in detail and let me know if u need help. If u r talking about taking the bolts off for the control arms that connects the control arms to the strut, no its not possible there is no space. The key to finish this project is time and patience otherwise u will break a lot of bolts. If the upper control arms were done 2 years ago it might not be that bad. Also u can take out the spindle and the strut together without taking the control arms.
