The way you describe Taeyeon's vocals is exactly what I think about her. She knows how to use her voice to deliver the message of whatever she sings. She's really a thoughtful vocalist.

this is the album of all time
We had to wait 3 YEARS before Taeyeon was able to perform Drawing Our Moments in a live concert setting (in her Odd of Love concert in 2023), it was INCREDIBLE. I got goosebumps just watching the fancam, I can't imagine what it was like in person. Everyone was there, Aespa, Le Sserafim, Seventeen, IVE, Doyoung of NCT, and many others.
You should react Taeyeon fancam singing Gravity at 'S concert... She cried a lot. The lyrics feels so intimate and heavy.

I've been GG fan since their rookie days but it was Taeyeon's Genie adlibs that made her my bias. My fav song from Purpose is Better Babe and Drawing Our Moments, but Gravity hit different when I heard it live at the concert.
It was my first Taeyeon's solo concert, and the last leg of the tour. She was so emotional and cried during Gravity. Right before singing that song, she honestly said how she was not in a good place at that moment. But seeing so many people came to hear her singing gave her strength. And she felt thankful when fans said they get strength from her songs too. So she wishes that we can always rely on each other and be healthy together 😭 So when she cried and struggled to sing Gravity right after, it really like she meant every words she said and dedicated that song for fans. That was such a raw, emotional performance made me pledge my loyalty to singer Taeyeon lol.

i cant wait to see your reactions to her first few releases as a solo artist! and any live stages. always loved your way of interpreting her songs. and through your reactions i found a new perspective and new appreciation to these songs. that’s honestly one of the reasons why i love watching reactions to full albums or songs from ty.

I stanned her when she debuted, I thought kpop singers (female) were so unstable live (was following wonder girls lol but mostly male groups and they were good) until I heard her sing and its been a waiting game for me till she debuted solo finally after 8 years of group activities 😭 all those time I was just hearing her sing a few lines and highlights of snsd songs.. so yeah its been a long time for me and yet I still stan her now as fiercely 🎉
Recommend you to check out her live concert vers for Better Babe and Gravity too. She made them hundred times better

Hearing her perform Drawing Our Moments in Killing Voice made me ugly cry like for real I was holding a pillow while watching it on my computer and immediately teared up when I heard the instrumentals and the pillow was literally drenched in my tears lol

I never have been a fan of Taeyeon since GG era. But when she debuted, that's where I appreciated her more coz she got to show what really is she capable of. During GG era, she can't show off coz of the type of songs they released and there lots of members too who can sing well.

Purpose truly is such a great album even outside of kpop and it always fights with the INVU album for me because I can never choose a favourite. Back in the days, I was a fan of GG but Taeyeon wasn't my bias. She become my bias after her solo debut as I found out that she is much more admirable throught out her solo activities and I love all of Taeyeon.
I was a fan since her debut. i wouldn’t listen to her religiously. Nevertheless I became a TAE stan since her purpose album came out… ironically. I’m glad you respect her music direction and lyrics. TAEYEON is just vulnerable and she shows that a lot in her music. It’s sad, but it helps a lot of people cope through shit. It’s sad she goes through this, but that’s what’s beautiful about being hurt and making music. It obviously works best in TAEYEON’s interest. She’s just that bitch. I’m sorry, it’s game over. She’s raw and honest.

Definitely take a look at her live performance for ‘LOVE YOU LIKE CRAZY’ it adds another level to the song, which I think you might like. It’s one of her exciting performances ever. In my opinion:

I was was wondering when we would get part 2. I was losing hope but I was estatic to see this updated! I am always up for more Taeyeon! You just did my favorite album from her but the INVU album is a close second.
The question when I got into Taeyeon...was prob during TTS. I bumped around who was my fav Girls Gen member but when she did TTS, I just saw her differently and her confidence was so fierce and strong with that subunit.
