The blue is great as it will often match the sky color, thus a floating Gold Ball! There sure is something therapeutic about a cash wash too. Thanks, Carpetbagger!
For awhile, I understand there was a variation of the "Mile High Club" called the " Sunsphere Club". Folks were sneaking up there to brag they had "done it" in the Sphere.
Cas Walker signs in Ciderville were interesting. My father worked at Cas Walker's horse stables in Knoxville. His show was a feature on Knoxville Television for many years. As he got older, Cas could be a bit cantankerous and there's a great TH-cam video from his show threatening to deal with panhandlers in his store parking lots rather harshly.
Still can't believe I actually got to meet carpet bagger twice last year!! This road trip He's on now I don't know it's always exciting. Safe travels Jacob.
CALL YOUR PHARMACY! They can have a bottle of your meds ready for you at any nearby drug store (especially one of their own if its a national chain). You don't have to wait or illegally (Hehe) ship anything. You can get your meds this way in an hour or so. I've done the same thing.
I was born and raised in Louisville. There is a beautiful cemetary - Cave Hill. It is considered the second most beautuful cemetery in the world behind only Pere Lachaise in Paris. Colonel Sanders is buried at Cave Hill.
I just love the Bucee's store.!!!! I am glad you got it all sorted out XX I can't wait to watch you wonderful adventure. XX I will keep in touch my friend.
Louisville had a glass blowing company near the downtown area. During the tour you can blow and make your own glass ornament. That would be a cool place to check out
TPMS sensors. We deal with that a lot in Canada. When we change over to winter tires, they don't have any sensors in them. They are extra to purchase, so we go without. As a result we deal with that annoying light all winter until we change our tires back to our summer tires that have them. It seems that one of your sensors malfunctioned for whatever reason. You'll be fine. All the best on your new adventure. Looking forward to seeing what you discover. 😀
It takes a certain kind of genius to make those incredibly clever gardens! Every single thing he pointed out was just FREAKING BRILLIANT!!! What a fantastic place!!!!
Piece of black tape to cover the blinking tire pressure light. You can get an inexpensive gauge and check that tire occasionally. Way way back in the day we used to do that with the oil press light on old VW bugs.
You need to go through the caverns under Louisville. It is the coolest place. You can zip line obstacle courses, a nice drive-through where they normally have Christmas lights but it’s all under Louisville.
I was born in Louisville Kentucky raised in Oldham county going to school out there, but now since 1999 I own my house for years on Barrett avenue in the Highlands. It's a good place to start to get a fixer upper. Hope you take a look around the area. I know you been here before cause I been a long time watcher of your stuff over the years. You take care Jacob I hope you bring Jenny Penny to Louisville to show her around that you seen.📸🤓👍
You can’t go wrong with The Louisville Antique & Toy Mall. 16,000 square feet of vintage toys is always a good thing. Plus the people there are very friendly.
Just enjoying your video of the start of your road trip adventure. Today is my birthday so nice to watch your trip begin on my birthday. Safe travels and looking forward to the adventure. Thanks for the smiles.. Jo-Anne ❤❤
Thank you for filming these road trips! I see places I'll never get to. We were gone for 3 months and my son mailed meds every month. I too have type2 diabetes.
Oh the tire pressure thing ALWAYS does that in the winter, even mine does that all the time now. Unless the pressure goes low, just ignore it. Good luck with the start of your adventure, Jacob
You can recalibrate the tire pressure alarm system with one of the buttons on your dash or under your steering wheel, but it’s different on every car. My newer car did this last week too. I had never had a car with that tire pressure management system before. Definitely don’t need a mechanic.
Be safe out there Jacob! High winds and treacherous rains are coming to your neck of the woods. As for Louisville, there's a lot to do there. There's the: Louisville Slugger Museum, Kentucky Derby Museum, Louisville Zoo, Muhammad Ali Center, and Kentucky Science Center. Let the 3rd Annual Choose My Adventure Roadtrip begin.
The tire pressure censor is a quick replacement. I had one replace on my Equinox it cost $60 and took about 20 minutes at a local tire shop. When you have some downtime on your trip it's worth getting fixed.
the little rubber ducks are for jeep owners, i didnt care enough to click on the atricle to find out. all the jeep guys at work have like 20 or 30 mini rubber ducks on their dashboards.
I would like to see you visit the McAlpine Locks on the Ohio River in Louisville. I know you only have a day and you'll not see all Louisville has but that would be something different and the Portland area really has a lot of river history even though now it's not the greatest area of Louisville
It is raining here today so might be better to stick with one of the museums around. A distillery tour would be cool to see though. Maybe the speed art museum? Check out recbar for food.
Visit Minneapolis! It is a beautiful and hip city with so much to do. Mall of America, Minnesota's Largest Candy Store, indoor water parks, Bde Maka Ska, MN state fair, midtown global market, river tubing. Rochester MN is also a very unique city to visit. Home of the Mayo Clinic in Rochester which has a very cool little city with stunning architecture and a unique history involving tornados and nuns ;) There are lots of tours and amazing Restaurants and breweries!
Yay looking forward to the beginning of the choose my adventure road trip and looking forward to seeing the sites you’re going to see today. I love these trips a lot they’re fun and enjoyable to watch it’s a great set of videos to learn new things.
For Louisville: Flame Run looks like a really fun experience if it fits budget and they let you film. Any of the distillery tour seem like they'd be a blast as well although I'd feel Evan Williams Bourbon Experience is probably the most entertaining or the Old Forrester . Mega Tram at Louisville Mega Cave also looks fun if they'd let you film. As an aside, you make me wish I had a car just for finding fun car washes.
Here’s some things I recommend has a Louisvillian: Cave Hill Cemetery, the Muhammad Ali center, the Kentucky science Center, and the Frazier history museum. Also if you would like to, I’ve heard great things about the bourbon trail that takes you to different distilleries in Louisville. I hope you enjoy Louisville as much as I do!
As a kid I always wanted a Charlie McCarthy dummy. I finally got it when I was about 10 years old. I loved the doll at night. I had to put it in the closet because it scared me. I was always afraid it was going to come alive. Lol. BTW you look like you lost a lot of weight when you checked into the hotel. Looking good keep up the great work stay healthy.
My tire pressure light started going on right after i got new tires. Its been years now with that light on and i notice it more when it randomly goes off than when its on.
If you are going in any area below 32 degrees need to take your pop and any liquids out of the car when not in your car....from experience they will explode all of the car ..happy travels
I’m sorry you fell down because of that cement block. I’m certainly glad that you didn’t get hurt any worse!! I can understand why you feel the way you do about that cement block. But aside from that, it was another interesting video. 👍
Grew up in Louisville and ended up moving when I was around 10. Living in NH now. One of my all time favorite places are the Louisville Slugger Museum and Churchill Downs is always super interesting to check out.
I had what was called a slap tear in my labrum in my shoulder. It allowed fluid to seep out and form a cyst on a nerve which made me tired constantly and I also couldnt lift my arm above my elbow. I had surgery on July 31 and Im still recovering to this day. I sure hope this doesnt happen to you. Please take care of yourself.
Idk if you already got your medicine or not but you can just call your doctor and they will call you in a prescription to a closer pharmacy. You don’t have to get the full script filled, you can just get however many days worth that you need and you can even get an insurance override to cover it early in most cases. We did this all the time for ppl who forgot meds when I was a pharmacy tech in Florida.
You can get a new TPM sensor at any tire place. It's built into the valve stem. Just needs replaced. Godspeed brother! Don't go back to fisherman's warf!
Good morning! Ironically, with you beginning your road trip, I have to go look at new vehicles today ☹️. I hope I can get something. But seeing this video come up made my morning better. Be safe! And good luck
Hi Jacob. I think you should visit The Louisville Slugger Museum. The Mega Cavern. Of course you should visit the Louisville Zoo. These are just a few fun things to visit while you are in Louisville ok. Have Fun On your Louisville Adventure.😊😊😊😊
I liked the laser car wash. Definitely worth going back at night. Also, "I think that car washes qualify as Dark Rides." And is immediately jump scared by the roller washer.😂😂😂 My votes for Springfield.
The blue is great as it will often match the sky color, thus a floating Gold Ball! There sure is something therapeutic about a cash wash too. Thanks, Carpetbagger!

Jacob.
I probably would faint 😅
Where did you run into him??
CALL YOUR PHARMACY! They can have a bottle of your meds ready for you at any nearby drug store (especially one of their own if its a national chain). You don't have to wait or illegally (Hehe) ship anything. You can get your meds this way in an hour or so. I've done the same thing.
Yes! I was going to suggest this.
I was born and raised in Louisville. There is a beautiful cemetary - Cave Hill. It is considered the second most beautuful cemetery in the world behind only Pere Lachaise in Paris. Colonel Sanders is buried at Cave Hill.
Might as well head over to Cherokee part while there.
@ellenwoodruff4518 State your sources?
Dear Jacob
Go to Cave Hill Cemetery it would be worth your trip believe me! You're Miss Pretty
Grew up in Kentucky, yes, Cave Hill is beautiful.
@firemedic2816 sources of what? Coronel Sanders Grave is there I've seen it
I just love the Bucee's store.!!!! I am glad you got it all sorted out XX I can't wait to watch you wonderful adventure. XX I will keep in touch my friend.
My first time being a part of this fully, votes and all! The hype is HIGH!
any tire shop can put a new battery in the tire sensor 4u . safe travels and love the channel ..
You can't just replace the battery, they are sealed units and you need a new one, and they aren't cheap!
@@mushieslushieyep mine was $150 for a new one
Always good waking up to a carpetbagger video!
My favorite series on this channel. Fun to follow the road trip adventures. ✌️
I just looked up that airplane gas station in Kentucky ✈️ and it’s just $123 a night on vrbo. Pretty cool. Happy travels. 🚙
Louisville had a glass blowing company near the downtown area. During the tour you can blow and make your own glass ornament. That would be a cool place to check out
Hope you have a magical Adventure Jacob🎉

You'll be fine.

Looking forward to seeing what you discover. 😀
Oh man, I've forgotten my meds several times! I'm glad you are working it out with Jen!
It takes a certain kind of genius to make those incredibly clever gardens! Every single thing he pointed out was just FREAKING BRILLIANT!!! What a fantastic place!!!!
Its perfectly legal to send prescription drugs thru the mail or FedEx/UPS just as long as its going to the person prescribed the prescription
Exactly!!!! Don't know what Jen is talking about.
I also first learned about the existence of the sunsphere/wigsphere from the Simpsons. I remember that episode fondly when it first aired on TV.
Freeze bottles of water to keep your cooler chilled. You will have no mess and always have a bottle of water. Safe travels.
You should check out waverly hills some time when you're in Louisville. It's really interesting and they have a lot of artifacts in a museum there.
Piece of black tape to cover the blinking tire pressure light. You can get an inexpensive gauge and check that tire occasionally. Way way back in the day we used to do that with the oil press light on old VW bugs.
I'm pretty sure Almond Milk has more sugar than regular milk.
On the wall is Waterfront walking bridge and the paddle wheel is from the Belle of Louisville steamboat.
You need to go through the caverns under Louisville. It is the coolest place. You can zip line obstacle courses, a nice drive-through where they normally have Christmas lights but it’s all under Louisville.
Hey Jacob I’m so happy to see you again. Thank you for the great videos you just made for 2024. I’m looking forward for your new adventures ❤❤
I was born in Louisville Kentucky raised in Oldham county going to school out there, but now since 1999 I own my house for years on Barrett avenue in the Highlands. This was fun! I enjoyed this very much! Can’t wait to watch your next adventure.
You can’t go wrong with The Louisville Antique & Toy Mall. 16,000 square feet of vintage toys is always a good thing. Plus the people there are very friendly.
agree
Where's the carnival ride car seat you showed early? Also I like how you have posters on the ceiling. 80s vibe. Mammoth Cave in Kentucky was awsome.
Just enjoying your video of the start of your road trip adventure. Today is my birthday so nice to watch your trip begin on my birthday. Safe travels and looking forward to the adventure. Thanks for the smiles.. Jo-Anne ❤❤
I got my backpack and ready for adventure!! Lets Go!!
Thank you for filming these road trips! I see places I'll never get to. We were gone for 3 months and my son mailed meds every month. I too have type2 diabetes.

We have that issue with the tire thing as well. Just check your air every now and again. SO annoying!
I love all these cool places you find along the way😎
I still have my tree up too...
I have decided to congratulate myself for getting the Valentine's tree up so early...
Safe travels and be careful, take care my friend.
I thought the sun sphere was full of wigs.
I'd like to see you review the Hot Brown sandwich at the Brown Hotel, and maybe a look at the lobby there!
I hope you get your medication resolved. Im sure you will find lots to show us as you usually do. Hope all goes smooth. Keep Safe❤Keep Well ❤
I enjoy your channel so much!! It is a welcome break from all the crazy stuff going on in the world
The tire pressure censor is a quick replacement. I had one replace on my Equinox it cost $60 and took about 20 minutes at a local tire shop. When you have some downtime on your trip it's worth getting fixed.
Might just need to be recalibrated if that one tire needs some air. That’s really easy to do. My car did the same thing last week when it got cold.
Evan Williams bourbon experience is fun. Great gift shop. Also the mega cavern is cool. And of course the Louisville slugger museum
I know u had a bad experience with Cleveland Ohio, but I hope you and Jen come and visit this year.😊
If you go to Paducah the National Quilt Museum is amazing!
So excited you came back to Knoxville! I live here...
Shouldn't the first thing you check when you get into your hotel room is to make sure someone else isn't sleeping there first?
the little rubber ducks are for jeep owners, i didnt care enough to click on the atricle to find out. all the jeep guys at work have like 20 or 30 mini rubber ducks on their dashboards.
I love this series. Great choice. Suprised you didnt go south for the better weather.
I would like to see you visit the McAlpine Locks on the Ohio River in Louisville. I know you only have a day and you'll not see all Louisville has but that would be something different and the Portland area really has a lot of river history even though now it's not the greatest area of Louisville
You should do an update on south of the border I'd love it and maybe some back roads travel
It is raining here today so might be better to stick with one of the museums around. A distillery tour would be cool to see though. Maybe the speed art museum? Check out recbar for food.
Kentucky Derby Clock, Cave Hill Cemetery, and the world's largest bats ( wood and vampire)
Make sure you check your rooms for bed bugs. They have videos on here to show you how. Happy and safe travels. ❤
Oh I forgot, The Sons of the American Revolutions headquarters with a museum etc is located in Louisville Ky
Visit Minneapolis! It is a beautiful and hip city with so much to do. Do one of the old time riverboats, I did the belle of Louisville and it was awesome!!
Yay looking forward to the beginning of the choose my adventure road trip and looking forward to seeing the sites you’re going to see today. I love these trips a lot they’re fun and enjoyable to watch it’s a great set of videos to learn new things.

Muth’s Candy Shop in Louisville is awesome and a must visit whenever I am in in town. Try their world famous Modjeska candy!

Like to see you spend a few days on the trail but then go back home within the week
If you are going in any area below 32 degrees need to take your pop and any liquids out of the car when not in your car....from experience they will explode all of the car ..happy travels
A return to the bat factory would be fun to see!
I’m sorry you fell down because of that cement block. I’m certainly glad that you didn’t get hurt any worse!! I can understand why you feel the way you do about that cement block. But aside from that, it was another interesting video. 👍

Next blog can be titled ‘Fell out of a ✈️ and landed in front of a 🚂’
That sun sphere is full of old wigs. 😂 according to the Simpsons anyway but I guess you are about to find out. 😮
I've lived in Knoxville for 38 years. I've never gone up in the Sunsphere.
I had what was called a slap tear in my labrum in my shoulder. It allowed fluid to seep out and form a cyst on a nerve which made me tired constantly and I also couldnt lift my arm above my elbow. Safe travels, Jacob! I'd love to see you check out the Louisville Slugger Factory & Museum. They've got the worlds largest baseball bat! :)
My father made the model for the big bat. Go to the Lincoln statue and see they replace his hat.
Greetings from Poteet Texas I really miss seeing cabooses at the end of trains
I went to the Kentucky Derby that was fun! Stay safe Jacob
You can get a new TPM sensor at any tire place. It's built into the valve stem. Just needs replaced. Godspeed brother! Don't go back to fisherman's warf!
Louisville Mega Cavern. It looks fun. Love you and your content. Thank you for taking me with you on these sights I could never get to myself ❤

Dark Ride Car Wash investing starts now
My bags are packed and ready to go 😊
One of my favorite museums in Louisville is the Frazier History Museum.
Jacob .Carefully place black electrical tape over the problem area and it's as if it never happened.
Hi Jacob. I think you should visit The Louisville Slugger Museum. The Mega Cavern. Of course you should visit the Louisville Zoo. These are just a few fun things to visit while you are in Louisville ok. Have Fun On your Louisville Adventure.😊😊😊😊
I'm glad it's a Sunsphere, if it was a Wigsphere you may not have a car anymore 😆
Not a recommendation but I hope you'll get your medication ! 😊 please stay safe 🙏
Check out the Louisville Mega Cavern and take the tram tour!
The tire sensor light isn't a big deal my car has the same problem I got through inspection with it on
I think the Louisville Bat museum would be perfect to visit.
Cave Hill cemetery has both Ali and the Colonel
The way to fix blinking lights on your dash is a piece of black tape over the light, until you can get it fixed.
Please visit the beautiful and historic Conrad Caldwell House.
All I can tell you about that Blue Duck is the plane got ducked LOL
JACOP THEY NEED TO MOVE THAT BRICK. ITS SO DANGEROUS. WOW
I liked the laser car wash. Definitely worth going back at night. Also, "I think that car washes qualify as Dark Rides." And is immediately jump scared by the roller washer.😂😂😂 My votes for Springfield.
Jen joining you for your adventure? She should more memories for you both and happy days ahead
Best part of the series besides the strange museums
