A project I have thought and dreamed about since years, but never really got around to achieve until now!
Much respect to Ryu Takami and the late Ryu Umemoto for being such big inspirations to me and many other people.

I was thrilled to be able to listen to Chrono Trigger on OPNA and hear Ryu Umemoto's Eve Brust Error arrangement.
Ryu Umemoto!
It's filled with the techniques cultivated by composers of yesteryear.
And you can feel the respect for PC-98.
Incredible adaptation, masterfully crafted, next level of "X in style of Y" type of cover.
This is a masterpiece. Chrono Trigger would honestly fit right at home on a PC-98 since it’s story has a really similar vibe to games like Words Worth or AmbivalenZ.
1:56 as far as I know it might originate from somewhere else but I immediately recognized this riff from Puchi’s Marginal Consciousness remix from the Gekitsuiou volume 2 doujin album

Question, if you did, how were you able to rip the instruments from grounseed? I can't find a way to do it from hoot or vgm2tfi/etc
I did so with MDPlayer by simply looking at values and copying them manually.

Great music. What happened to the animation though? Is it me misremembering it or does it look terribly paced? It is very hard to watch. Pardon me if I am ignorant. It could be some kind of homage to PC-98. Never had the system.
