New to Explorer Caravan Sales is the fantastic Franklin range! The core is Franklin's base range and is available in both couples and family layouts. It is packed with some great features that put on full display the quality of the Franklin brand.

In the Core’s bedroom there is a spacious queen Island bed with an innerspring mattress. With plenty of storage above, beside and beneath the bed.
From the bedroom you can view the Television which works off of a wind up roof antenna.
This TV swings on an arm so you can see it from the lounge as well. The Core comes with cloth upholstery and the 176 layout has an L shaped lounge. Within the different layouts in the Core range, you’ll find options for cafe style seating as well as club lounges.
Essential inclusions in the kitchen are the four burner gas stove with mini grill and an integrated microwave oven. The Core has a large 188 litre 3 way fridge. This spacious fridge has plenty of room to keep you stocked on your next getaway. (interior shot too)
The cabinetry in the Franklin Core range is a hybrid of the computer cut style found in other Franklins, as well as cabinetry built with traditional methods. This combination results in an overall reduction of weight in the caravan. More weight is saved by the cutaways in the partitions in the cupboards.
To keep you nice and warm in winter, the walls of the Core are fully insulated, as is the roof. You’ll find in the roof a pair of Ceiling Speakers connected to the bluetooth radio.
The Core’s bathroom has a stylish sink as its centrepiece and also a swivel toilet. You’ve also got a fully enclosed, full-height, fibreglass shower and a pair of Extractor Fans. This specific model has a washing machine included, most layouts in the core range have one but there are a couple that don’t.
On the outside there are plenty more great features!
At the front you’ll find a front window with a protector shade. There’s also a pair of 9kg Gas Bottles and regulator at the front. There is checker plate protection at the front of the caravan and also on the lower sides.
At all corners of the caravan you’ll find drop-down stabiliser legs
At the front there is a fully galvanised tunnel boot that runs the full length of the van. Beneath this is a gas bayonet.
The side walls of the core are a Lightweight Aluminium, with the front, roof and rear being made of a much sturdier composite material.
The Core range comes with Alloy Wheels with electric brakes as standard. The single axle range has 16” tyres.
Under the spacious roll out awning area there is a fold out picnic table next to an External TV Point. Here you can also find a 12 volt socket and a 10 amp power outlet.
The entrance to the caravan is a 3-Point Locking Security Door that separates from the fly screen
On the back is a sturdy Bumper Bar With a Spare Wheel and of course a Reverse Camera.
Up on the roof as standard is a Solar Panel and the Ibis 4 air conditioner
The caravan sits on a sturdy Supergal Chassis made of australian steel. Underneath you’ll find the caravans suspension and two 95 Litre Water Tanks protected with Galvanised plates.
