    As an enthusiast I struggle with hard water spots that come from drips after I blow dry and towel dry the car. My wifes Highlander is always bleeding afterwards and it drives me crazy to look at the paint the next day to see a hard water drip spot. I I like the idea of touchless drying and saving the paint surface from marring during the towel drying process. good review

    Used mine for the first time yesterday on a motorhome. It’s 41 feet long, so no way I could hand dry it without it would leave spots. Using this system, it left ZERO water spots!

    It is a super thing only if your house water or water suplly itself is soft ( below 70 -90 PPm ) other wise the costs of the DI resin will be too much and and getting a 40/40 system may be the wisest option. What you need to do is calculate how much resin you are bying per month or year.. (this all depends on how much exterior cleaning you are doing ) . The other thing is when you tryand push a lot of weater through the Di quickly it will use the Resin up much quicker ! The best is to produce the Pure water slowly sending it to a tank or container and then hopefully your pressure washer can suck from a barrel etc .. The LPM of your pressure washer will play a big role on how long the resin lasts ..

    What happens if I didn’t Teflon tape the white part that goes in and out of the cr spotless, I’m having issues with leaks hoping this is not the problem looks difficult to take back off
    How tight does it need to be ?
    Does the fine threaded side need to be Teflon taped on both sides ?

    I’m wondering if this is possible to hook up for window washing using a water fed pole?

    Tom, another great video. I'm looking at the CR spotless system. Are you still happy with the product?

      Hi Ken, thanks for checking out the vid. At this point I consider my CR Spotless to be essential equipment. I couldn't imagine doing mobile detailing in the summer without it. I've gone through 5 refills now and will be using it for the foreseeable future. I estimate it costs about $3 per wash but it saves so much time not worrying about continually re-wetting the car to prevent water spots. If you're thinking about buying one I wouldn't hesitate. Worth every penny.

    How long does it last? A lot of people say it only lasts about 7-8 car washes and that’s it. I’m debating on getting this but if that’s true, I would rather get a bigger system

      I got somewhere between 30-35 washes out of my first set of cartridges. I use it selectively though. That bypass is critical, because you generally don't need it for wheels, foam cannon or the first rinse. So you can save a lot that way. I also find no need for it unless I'm washing in direct sun.

      How long it lasts depends on the water in your area of where you live. The harder the water the faster these cartridges will go out. The best way to conserve is to only use the cr spotless for your final rinse. It will last a very long time if you do that.

    What did you end up needing to set up a proper bypass?

    • @luxurycardetailingthehamptons
      @luxurycardetailingthehamptons  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I needed another 1/4 turn hose valve on the inlet side to stop the water from going through the filter and force it through the bypass.

      30-35 washes if you put a bypass on it and use it primarily for rinsing.

    crappy foam gun you have there

    • @luxurycardetailingthehamptons
      @luxurycardetailingthehamptons  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Yup, and if you listen closely there is the sound of a crappy pressure washer in the background. With those crappy pieces of equipment I made enough to buy a Kranzle, an MTM foam gun, a collection of polishers and now detail almost nothing but six figure cars. 😊
