- As part of celebrating Anime Boston's 10th anniversary, I decided to upload the incomplete version that explains the reference in Suwako on Drugs. This was done to show where the references were. Over a year later and with the help of a few people on TH-cam, I can now call this complete, just in time for Anime Boston 2013.

0:36 wtf Reimu?!
Yea, that seems to be the reaction towards Kinkaku... Honestly, the Reimu video is actually a parody of another video, where a wrestler is looped in a Gif doing that dance to his towel.
Thank you, thank you, thank you!
I was so curious about where many of the references were from, this is one very educational video! :D
suwako is a very cheering character, that’s why this video is not only hilarious, it’s so cute too
1:31 She did the thing. Good Job Suwako.
That was AMAZING and dope to watch
2:57 "Let go of me, please!"
We got virtual insanity as a touhou meme before an actual meme what

THE ULTIMATE DRUG
Oh you have no idea....
In reality though, I can not hear this song without thinking about the Raging X/X on Drugs series.... This video has literally become my drug....
When you scroll through the taunt options
0:25 is a reference to the hatsune miku Ievan polkka where she swings a leek
In hindsight, yes that is a reference to Hatsune Miku Llevan Polkka. However, at the time of research, I based it off the original Reimu on X, which had some other memes included within it.
Fun Fact: Did you know the leek is actually from the anime Bleach. The original Llevan Polkka was a GIF of Orihime from Bleach spinning a leek mashed together with the song. It can be search as Leek Spin. In 2007, Hatsune did a cover of the song and had the leek. The rest is history.
@@Eri21486 zamn I did not know the fun fact. Epic

2:33 i want to find that original video ;o;
I wanna do this for a dance assignment but it seems impossible 😭

You have the Ranka Nyan Nyan Jingle Dance nice.
0:32 I was sure that it was a sailor moon reference.
The thing with memes, they like to borrow from others. It very well may have been inspired by Sailor Moon which ended up in the Tewi & Reisen version of Popipo.
nostalgia
I think 0:25 is Ievan Polkka dance with leek x'3
You may be right and you may be wrong. I personally think the motion is a reference to the original Reimu on Drugs. However, looking closely, the arm on the hips can be associated with Hatsune Miku's Levan Polkka dance.
2:24 "Angry german kid" done by Sawako? And in HD? I like it : 3
I have many questions
Ask away! I can try to answer... LOL
@@Eri21486 where is this from and why
@@chairmeme6231 Suwako is a character in the Touhou Universe. The song is also from the Touhou Universe. The video itself is from Japan, specifically from a website called NND (Nico Nico Douga). The why is hard to explain though but I can say this, the Suwako version is the last of the 3 iterations of this same meme. Last but not least, the meme is called "Raging X" or "X on Drugs" where the X can be changed to whoever is in the video. I will admit though, there is some confusion with the "Prismriver Sisters on Drugs" or "Tamiflyu Sisters" meme due to the name but the concepts is pretty much the same, creating a dance with various other memes embedded within it.

next: you on touhou explain pls
o.O me? Hahahaha
Seriously though, I don't think I would be good for a Touhou explain since I really have not been in the Touhou fandom since UFO (even though I want to play the newer games.) However, I do love memes and found it really funny to see memes in places where they should not be, like Caramelldansen in Phineas & Ferb or Tsukasa'a dance from Lucky Star in My Little Pony: Equestria Girls. Shoot, Gagnam Style was in MLP:EG...

Did not expect Hetalia.
Although it may not be exactly from Hetalia, I used it to demonstrate the meme.
