Thanks Jon. I did experiment with recording sound on a Sony Recorder. Next time in the RV4 I will change the setting on the hand held GoPro from Wde angle to Medium. We never did fine out what happened at Henstridge as John changed plans and we flew back via Sandown (Isle of Wight) but that is 2 more films! Have a good trip to Blackpool. We are going to Halfpenny Green.
Thank you Phil, I do very much appreciate the feedback. As a lifelong teacher I do not try to use my videos to tell people how they should be flying but my aim is solely to share my flying experiences with others and if people learn on the way, then so much the better. I think I am very lucky to be a pilot owner and like to show all aspects of this. Thanks again and be sure to come and catch me when our paths cross.
Great video Tim. As a complex spam-can pilot and owner (Rockwell Commander) operating out of North Weald, I miss the grass and the short fields (we get so many gear issues when operating on anything but the hardest driest grass so tend to avoid it and we need at least 800 meters to get airborne). I live near Chelmsford and my work often takes me to Colchester and Sudbury and I pass Nayland often but I never see anything going on there but obviously I am wrong. The Jodel seems like a great machine and operating under a permit means you can get 'stuck in' something we never do. Keep up the good work and happy flying!
Brilliant - just found this one - one I haven’t seen before 👍👍👍
Thank you. Glad you enjoyed it.
Smooth landing!
He did okay! :-)
Good video Tim. Always interesting to see how these things pan out.

We do have our busy times but planning restrictions do not help. Call in next time you are passing! Thanks for watching and the positive comment.
Nice flying but I would recommend losing the cap.
Mine or John's?
