Hi Everyone! Please note that the starting chain for the Blanket Scarf pattern is 48. I forgot to mention to add 2 chains (46 + 2). The multiple for the stitch used is 4.
I love this blanket scarf & thank you so much for showing us how to make it❣️ I am a disabled oral cancer survivor & from major radiation damage my head, neck & jawbone area are always freezing & I have been looking for a scarf pattern wide enough that I could use to wrap around my head & neck area & none I found were big & warm enough. Blessings to all❣️
Thank you so much for your comment. I'm so sorry that you had to go through all of that but I'm so happy that you made it through. I hope this scarf pattern will keep you nice and toasty. If you would like for it to be a little wider all you have to do is add some more chains to the beginning in multiples of 4. It's pretty wide, but just incase you wanted to add some additional length. Have a wonderful day! 😊✨
@ Thank you so much for you kind comment, 🥰 Thank God He has helped me through so much & held my hand the whole way❣️ Thank you for letting me know how to make it bigger, when I start it I will keep that in mind. I’m trying to finish some of my WIPs before starting it but as it gets colder I may start it anyway…😁 Blessings to you & thank you SO MUCH for every tutorial you do❣️
Hi there, here's the blanket version of the stitch that I used for this pattern: jewelsandjones.com/crochet-chunky-one-row-repeat-blanket-free-pattern/
I feel like something is amiss. You start off with 12 chains two of which are used as the first double crochet and then the last row before the fringe you have 16 stitches. Did I miss something along the way? To me it seems to be a multiple of four plus two. It’s important to mention the multiples since some of us would want to use different yarn or make a different size using this stitch pattern. Love the design and the end product and the fringe is gorgeous. ❤
Hi there, thank you. In the video I am making a swatch of 12 chains. The reason why the stitches increases for row 1 and row 2 is because you're adding additional stitches (an extra 2 chains, and an extra double crochet). I forgot to mention the add chain 2 part in the video, so the foundation chain is 48 (46 + 2). The multiple for the stitch is 4. I hope that helps and sorry for the confusion.
Hi there, I actually have a video tutorial for the stitch on my channel. It goes over it step-by-step. It should be under the stitches tab (Reverse Blanket Stitch Tutorial). I also have a blog post with photos on how to do the stitch. 😊

Thank you! Yes, it would make such a cute Christmas gift. 😊
It’s beautiful scarf I like twist edge.
Thank you! 😊
Very pretty. Can you please update to show how you secured the ending to the Fringe?
Hi there, yes, I can make an updated video of how I did this. You just want to slip stitch to the next stitch and then finish of your work.
A video would be so helpful if you can. 😊
What are multiples for a blanket?

@ thank you for the clarification. That helps a lot.
I think you should’ve showed us the next two rows just to make sure everyone got it. Like me lol.

Can you confirm the foundation chain is 46? It's not endung correctly for me and I've done it several times.
