    I just found you yesterday and can't stop watching. Another amazing tutorial as always. Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge and walking us through step by step. I appreciate the methodical way you teach us and measure everything out. I'm the type to measure thrice and still get it wrong so its nice to see it done correctly =) Btw, even though I can hear your crestfallen voice from when your cutter ate up your cover, your vellum overlay turned out gorgeous! I cant even see the tape. Can't wait to try this (after I laminate my custom covers from your other video, ofc haha).

    Fantastic tutorial, Judi! I really enjoyed the method you showed for measurements and placement- thank you 😊 One thing I’ve found helpful when using my paper trimmer on velum is to start inside the edge of the page or the middle, pierce the velum and slide out in either direction. It definitely helps to avoid the ‘crunchies’ 😖 -something I’ve had happen more than once... Thanks for sharing ✨

      Thanks for the tip, it makes perfect sense! I did put a fresh blade on after the video and I don't really mention it at the end but it is pretty much invisible thankfully!

    Awesome video. Great tip putting the vellum on a paper. I'll try that. Do you use a inkjet printer or laser printer?

      I love my Epson EcoTank 3760 - it never runs out of ink even on best print quality!!

    Hi, I want to print photos onto vellum and wondered what printer you use or would recommend ?

    Your timing is excellent, as usual, Judi. I just bought a pack of vellum this weekend on my mulberry paper inspiration-tangent. I'll definitely be doing these too!
    On a different topic, what program do you use to record your screen? I have a request on my (tiny) bag making channel to see how I use Affinity Designer.

      Glad the timing was good! I'm using a program called "Live Screen Capture" is was part of what was downloaded and installed with the video editing software I use which is Corel VideoStudio. Maybe you can download just that program for free?

    Do you know if you can watercolor on the paper itself?

    • @JLBCrafts

      I have never tried it but a quick Google search seems to indicate plenty of people do!

    Judi, are you using Canva Pro? My free version iPad app doesn’t give me dimensional read outs and I’m having difficulty sizing things

    • @JLBCrafts
      @JLBCrafts  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I am using the free version but I'm not using it through an app on an iPad in my videos, I'm using it through a web browser on my laptop - that may be the difference!
