      unit step is a signal because it changes from o to 1 at t=0(discontinuous at zero). but a dc is never changing ,it is always constant for all time t

  • @Fourier-x3k

    There are two kinds of single depending on the value they take wrt to time
    So their names are continuous time signal CTS and discrete time variable TTS
    One which take values for every value of time is CTS other which takes value for discrete values of time TTS
    CTS representated as x(t) t is independent variable time and x is dependent variable that is signal
    TTS is represented as x(n)
    X is signal and n is integer
    For example the diff in the two consecutive times is T in two consecutive times is 2T in this way we represent it for 1t,2t,3t as for 1,2,3 factor of T is hidden
    And for representing purpose in TTS, we place arrow below the value TTS takes for integer 0 that is when time was 0 the value it took
    Thank you

    • @jyotidixit7581
      @jyotidixit7581 7 ปีที่แล้ว +7

      Ravi Pratihast He has taken time period of sampling, T=1, i.e. The signal is sampled for every delta_t=1, thus the values are plotted for every nT=nx1=n. That is why he has omitted T in the description.

    • @ravipratihast
      @ravipratihast 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      So, n is then taken as 0, 1,2, 3...n?

    • @jyotidixit7581
      @jyotidixit7581 7 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Ravi Pratihast Yes, in this case, therefore, n being a discrete variable has taken the values like 1,2,3...n and x(n) has been mapped for those values.
