I’ve seen a group of about 10 Mallards gang up on a female m, one after the other until she drowned. Every time a drake mounted her gripping her neck feathers she would sink beneath the water under his weight until he dismounted, barely catching her breath when immediately the next drake would mount her, eventually she didn’t come up from beneath the surface. It was a frenzy.

It's back in again - the mod haircut! Lots of art studenty types are rocking it atm - it gave my mum palpitations when I went for the chop but she's come to terms with it now! 😅 Emma Watson's pixie cut is kind of referencing this era as well, I think?
