Thanks for the update! Love seeing him again, and glad he's found a job as a companion. Though he's a fantastic ambassador for mustangs as well - somewhat like Fledge, though in a different way. He and Wy were one of the first mustang videos I ever saw.
I really admire you for being able to step back and say "this horse just doesn't enjoy this activity" and figure out a job that he can excel at. I agree with you--a good companion horse is valuable in being the social grease that helps keep the rest of the horses happy by always being able to have at least two turned out together.

Ah, my beloved Eton! I think he will ever be your magnum opus of the mustangs. His story would make a wonderful children's book. I can never think of an beginning scenario of how he became so frightened.

There's my sweetheart Eton!!!!!!❤ I'll never forget the day you unloaded Eton and Wyeth. Eton scared me to death just watching him. I was so scared he would hurt you for several weeks as you were "taming" him down some! He stole my heart though and I still love getting to see him! He is gorgeous, and his tail is so thick and beautiful. And that big smile he gives you!!!!!! So sweet❤ Do you still ride him some? Please let us see Wy and Eton every chance you get!!!

Such a beautiful tail! My Irish mare's tail cords, so I know how much work it is to keep it brushed out and hers is not nearly as thick as Eton's. Glad to hear Eton has found his place in the world. He looks contented...
Your adventures with Eton back in the day were not only entertaining, but educational. He's definitely one of my top faves.
I just love him. Such a special guy and such a pretty face, too. Those are the horses that, if you manage to win their trust, will stay with you forever and go through everything for you. It does take a lot of time and work though.

Aw I missed seeing Eton! I can't believe it's been so long, I remember when he did his first couple jumping sessions! I can't believe he's gonna be 12, time sure flies. So good to see him again :)
