@BRobinson28 You'll probably need a set of manifold gauges to diagnose the issue. These videos might be useful: th-cam.com/video/QKmbO3rAd3Q/w-d-xo.htmlsi=-qtUZvV_CxtS6Bxy th-cam.com/video/XoMIJ2Mr0FU/w-d-xo.htmlsi=AHGkm7OsCfHWHAYu
The valves are right there for you, so yes. You'll just need a source of air or some other method, such as rope fed into the cylinders through the spark plug holes, to keep the valves closed while you remove the valve components. This video in the series on the MDX partial engine rebuild I'm doing might be useful: th-cam.com/video/CdtFTkLCRf0/w-d-xo.html Feel free to contact me on Instagram (@carapprentice) if you need more info.
It's not urgent, but I would address it as soon as possible. The knock sensors are under the intake manifold: shorturl.at/fuyF0 In the Engine section of the service manual, there's some intake removal information: www.mediafire.com/file/uvbmryok1ax4vbs/Acura_RL_-_Factory_Service_Manual_%25281996-2004%2529.zip/file

I have an ‘02 Acura RL and your videos have been very helpful 🙏. Keep up the good work brother.
Glad to hear it. Thanks for watching!
I see the 02 is not much different your video helped me install the ac belt but it still blows hot
@@BRobinson28 AC systems can be a bit complicated. You may want to have a shop look at it.
@@carapprentice I hear my ac compressor clutch kick in but no ac no blown fuses I have refrigerated in it these 2002 Acura RL imma just send it to you

@@carapprentice thanks for answering
How can I get to the front and rear knock sensors on a 2001 RL?
Is it an urgent fix?
