Great video. I am a sound engineer who does a lot of theatrical sound designs and I have mixed some of the shows I have designed and shows designed by others. I can absolutely confirm that there is nothing like mixing a musical. It is the hardest thing I have ever done as a sound engineer. It can be quite stressful and exhausting, but when things are going well it is absolutely exhilarating!

I had a brief stint as an A3 swing on a touring musical. I learnt alot during that gig, but also never had time to ask my A1/A2 these kind of questions as it was a busy busy show. Unfortunately, I didn't continue working for that audio company after that show left due to other commitments. But this brings back memories!
I still do sound for theatre though, just not musicals.
