Is there a version of this that doesn’t cut off?

No, it was recorded from a radio show (probably by legendary bootlegger Boris Rose) and this was all that was broadcast.

Milestones: A Miles Davis Archive are there any more bootlegs of rollins like this? This is incredible!

@@charliefriedberg There's a couple more broadcasts from the same period here: th-cam.com/video/-CWhvpUJ5zc/w-d-xo.html and here th-cam.com/video/0TwQwy8Hdmk/w-d-xo.html (a lot of DJ chatter on these, unfortunately). There are also some earlier 1951 broadcasts from Birdland- th-cam.com/video/QKuc6WL7h8U/w-d-xo.html and th-cam.com/video/0TwQwy8Hdmk/w-d-xo.html.
It's worth having a search for the recordings from Sonny's European tour in 1959, there are some good radio broadcasts from Stockholm, Zurich, Frankfurt, Laren, and Aix-en-Provence (there's some video footage from these, too). Sonny in his first great period in full flow.

@@MilestonesArchive Thank you so much. These are gems. I've heard Rollins in Stockholm, but I'll look into those other cities. In Miles' autobiography, he talks about how much the First Great Quintet toured... do you think it's possible someone might discover live tapes of Miles, Trane, Red Garland, PC, and Philly Joe?
Was Rollins touring with a band in Europe at the same time? Maybe with Max Roach? God I wish I was born in 1925.
