    I love the fact that you’re the only one there in a big empty parking lot w/no one to bother you!

      @justSatyr  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I know, right? It's the parking lot for a giant theatre and I was there before they opened. Throughout the summers they have car shows in this parking lot on the weekends because it is so big and usually sits 80-90% empty. It's a nice spot to practice u-turns ;)

    That is one of the best looking iron 1200s I’ve seen so far! The black tank with the lift and wire tuck is sweet.

      Thanks! It stands out in a crowd for sure and most people either really like it or absolutely hate it. Always good to find more of the first group ;)

    Your headlight is mounted to the brow like on a normal sporty,there is a bolt that comes up to mount the cowl too. I keep burning out the rear signal lights on my 1200. Cobra 909 Speedsters sound really good on my 1200. Always good to keep it plugged into a trickle charger

    • @justSatyr

      I still really dig the look of the 909's. Maybe someday

      Kits do exist! This is the one that I use but there are others out there that look a little different or are priced a little better.

    I like sportsters because there light and nimble and overall fun if someone needs a big heavy bike get 1 then but I at this time anyway like the lightness of these bikes and price range is great too

    I like the sporties too, i rode sportbikes when I was young so I like the handling of the sportsters over a large heavy bike. The 1200 is plenty fast for me. Beautiful bike man

    I have the same exhaust, filter and tuner and yes it pops all the time. Mine even cuts out at times but I’ve had two dealers say it the setup and the only way to fix it is go with a less “extreme” exhaust and intake or after market tuner which would void my warranty. I really feel the cutting out is another issue but they insist that’s what it is. Guess I’ll find out if I’m screwed when the warranty is up and if I have to shell out money to fix an issue they claim isn’t an issue.

    • @justSatyr

    Ain't no girls bike ..how much diffrent was it going from 883 to 1200

    • @justSatyr
      @justSatyr  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      It was both not as big of a change as I was expecting and a lot more of a change at the same time. The 883 and the 1200 are the exact same bike other then the engine so if felt almost exactly the same as far as the weight and the balance and just the ride in general.
      The 1200 just hides a lot more get up and go though. My 883 was only ever a stage 1 and I got my 1200 to stage 2 as quickly as possible. The 883 was capable of going 70-90 on the highway but you could tell it didn't WANT to. The 1200 just has a lot more room through the gears before it starts to get angry.
      The 1200 isn't a peaceful ride going 90 on the interstate by any means but It doesn't feel like you are pushing it so hard to get it there either.

    Dude i just took thcowl of my 20 iron 1200 and put it on his 883 ,looks alot better,both bikes look alot better actually, all we did was swap hardware. I promise the cowl is not a part of holding the headlight , pull the cowl youll see a tall nut with a female end that the cowl mount bolts to. Youll just have to buy the new hardware are cap , unless you swap with a stock cowl-less bike.

    I took my "speed screen" off. Page 163 figure 71. I replaced index 5 with a regular nut. capped it
    off with a hole plug. all from the hardware store. hole plugs are usually industrial chrome from the store, but you
    can spray bomb it black. forgive me cause i don't remember the sizes on the hardware, i think 1/2 13, but don't quote me on that. it's def standard though. i wanna do some more stuff to my iron so thanks for making this video man.

      I did totally forget about the bars in this video. They are the "Chizeled Satin Black" bars from Harley Davidson. They are expensive but I fell in love with the shape of them and couldn't find any knock off's that were close to the same look.
