    No brother. That sounds like more than you need. Most important for structural integrity is the joints ( hard turns ) there you need to put a fillet ( radius) made of putty (resin with filler) then overlap the joints by at least two inches each direction. That is where most stress occurs.

      Any place where surfaces change direction dramatically need extra layers of structural material. Flat surfaces not so much. Bow, transom, chines, keel and stem and where bulkheads or mullions connect to sides or bottom of the hull. I hope this helps.

    Hi what would be an ideal diameter tube for flyrods .? I doubt between 32 or 40 mm to install in my boat..

      I like 1&1/4” schedule 20 pvc

    Hello thanks for this good videos, I started building one skiff 12 feet, I have done 2 times 1.5 oz shop mat and 3 times 1708 do you think that is ok do I need more fiber glass?
