I think it's Oli just ahead of Joel. Lizzie's was so close to working; needed just another minute or two worth of blocks. Jimmy, you just dreamed too big for this one. But that's why we love ya.
This is so psychologically interesting. Each person went for a different method of organizing the incoming mess of blocks. The foci were also different in their own ways. Joel - focused on texture building/symmetry. Also utilized more Minecraft mechanics Jimmy - focused moreso on the shape of the build, only making the shape a little ambitious. Lizzie - by color/shade Ollie - kind of a focus on the end product/ functionality of the design I like how Joel put grian and then the back slowly fell apart. I kinda tells an unintentional story that grian built it and rushed the back (after not doing the back and being forced to with tnt)
Joel seeing the colour red and immediately making Grian was hilarious to me and idk why 😭 Also reminds me of jimmys attempt at building people in guess the build-
I think I’ll be controversial and say Lizzie. Because she put in the effort to use every block, and she was able to make a decent sized house. And the shape came out very well despite having some tricky blocks to use. She also had the idea to color coordinate the walls as best as she could!
Oli def won. This challenge made colour co-ordination next to impossible, and he saw that and decided to focus on how he can use shapes to make his building stand out. Genius builder TheOrionSound
1. Joel/Lizzie. They are both good in their own way! I think Lizzie may have won given the premise of the game. She used all her random blocks! 2. Oli. Great build, good idea, but a bit muddled. Too much chaos. 3. Jimmy. Sorry man, just went too big. It's just a giant pancake with ques for people. Great work though regardless! Awesome video!! Thank you!
I think Joel wins because he took the initiative to to do the Build Battle tradition of making Grian, also his looked like a well put together house while also incorporating all of his blocks

Jimmy's build looks like a pancake and I love that. Lizzie's is your standard house, nice and house-y Joel's somehow looks like what me or my friends would build in creative and Oli's is very unique!

Torn between Lizzie and Oli. Lizzie's house got a simple but really neat shape and the block combos don't look that bad together. As someone said, she could've completed her house if she just had a few more minutes. Oli's is an actual build other than just a house, and it has proper symmetry which I really appreciate all while under time pressure and the overwhelming pouring of blocks. Both great builds but since I can only vote once, I give my vote to Oli!
Joel was clever by stretching his blocks. Lizzie was clever by color coordinating (or trying to, anyway). If Jimmy had done a ring around the top edge, it could've been a stadium or arena. Oli's build was creative--he didn't go for a structure at all. My vote is for Lizzie =) Fun idea! Feel free to enlist three other friends for another go--say, Impulse, Skizz, and Tango =)

I'm absolutely amazed by the number of people who obviously voted for their favorite builder without actually watching the video first. It completely ruins the intent of this competition, and insults all of the participants.
My judgement: 1. Oli 2. Joel Both of the above are good and wholesome. It was close, but Oli's concept stands out to me. 3. Lizzie 4. Jimmy Both of the above have holes in the construction, but Lizzie's was a smaller one, and she colour coordinated. 👍
Oli popped off 🔥 (also I wish there was an SMP with Grian, Jimmy, Oli, and Lizzie (aka hermitcraft needs to bring Jimmy, Oli, and Lizzie on board, or we need the life series back))
I think an interesting variation of this game could go like: Instead of constantly getting random items, they get a random amount of 4 different blocks and a misc. item every half a minute. Misc. Items being: Armor Stand Boat Minecart Spawn Egg Uhhhhhmmmm uhhh... etc. Main idea for this is to make it so that when you get your items, you may have a good idea on what type of build you're gonna do
I do think letting people place their last blocks is nice. Also, you definitely should've placed the chests inside of the boxes since the point of the divider walls is kinda defeated if people leave them mid way to use the chests anyways. Interesting challenge. Nice video
LOL this build battle had me cracking up 😂! I love how every block just throws them off, especially when Lizzie was so close! Makes me wonder what kind of random stuff I'd come up with 🤔. Can't wait for the next one! 🎉
Oli by a landslide on this one !! He wasn't thinking like just a house or a building .... a pod racer !! And dammit if he didn't pull this off rather superbly in my opinion. Well done Oli !! The hubby and wifey duo showed why they are a right pair and both went with houses of some description. And Jim ... Jim, Jim, Jim .... I think you were just too ambitious mate. But hey ... good effort and a good sport like always, and such a gracious host. Love them all in some way but Oli was the outright winner in my book this time ! 😀
Haven't watched the vid yet, or seen the votes, but I have a feeling that the Solidarity community is the exact opposite of DangThatsALongName's. Like, when Scott is one of the contestants, all of his fans will vote him, no matter what. But Jimmy, on the other hand... His fans will vote everyone BUT him.
This is tough to judge there's something to love about all of them Oli might be my favorite with the out of the box thinking, and from the front without being told I could tell it was a Spaceship Lizzies I love the effort of trying to keep the similar colors together I love things organized by color so that was satisfying and she perfectly captured the standard Minecraft House Joel had Grian which feels very on brand for Build Battle there's always Grian, Mumbo, or Etho/Skizz Effo in the builds, also has no back which even for a new Hermit is very on brand Jimmy went very ambitious and dreamt big, I tend to get too ambitious with my projects so I felt that was relatable and I like the seats like it could've been a Circus Tent 🎪 or stage it was cool All 4 builds were great for a really difficult challenge

They start to hunt and/or kill each other RIGHT when the video starts 😂. Annndddddd in the ending as well. Jimmy’s friends are chaotic and entertaining to watch 😆
