  • Hello, I'm Lance (aka Bundy Bear), and doing these videos is my hobby. I do own Queensland Tractor Spares in Australia where I sell parts and offer technical advice to customers.
Parts seen in our videos can be purchased from www.queenslandt...
We have a lot more than we can offer on our web site available to us and in our store. If you don't see what you would like please email info@queenslandtractorspares.com.au or call 1300 850 097 and we will help where we can.
I do try and help with technical advice at bundybearsshed@gmail.com if you have a question or are having trouble with your project.

I have fitted several of those steel/brass taps and they all leak almost immediately after fitting. Get an original plastic type one which are much better

I tend to go for these steel tap ones as I have had the plastic go brittle and break off. Im thinking the problem is the machines surface where the o ring seals. It seems to be good now with a fatter o ring.

G Day Lance, the wisest man I know in tractors once told me that resto's are never finished, there's always little jobs to be done, I think his name was mmmmmm! Lance I think he was from Aus as well. lol

G Day Nick, The go Pro seems to be troublesome, Im using s DJI camera for things like the tractor drive to the show the other day and a 3 footed monster magnetic base. My in the shed camera is just a Panasonic FZ300 and that is all I had for years. The microphones really came when my shed creaks and groans so it can filter some of that out.

I found I couldnt keep it in place properly, But I think I will use the brace again for a while and see how that goes.

There.s a lot to be said for plumbers pvc tape on the threads of the fuel line, it doesn’t react with diesel and makes for nice tight threads. I use it on my MF135 on the tank tap and a couple of the unions on the fuel filters. No probs since I did it a year ago.

I tend not to use it, In the case of the leaking tap Im thinking where the tap o ring seals it may have a machining or casting fault.

@@BundyBearsShed In that case I echo another comment, the cheap plastic taps tend not to weep, it’s what I have on mine since I stripped down the fuel system a couple of years back.

Another excellent Stew Lance - glad you sorted the fuel leak, sounds like the 135 performed faultlessly in all other respects on your road trip which is great news! I hope that the show that you are organising comes off, not sure why people would not want it to happen!

Thanks Charles, Yes the 135 does run well, I think we will get the show up and running ok but we just need to get the negative types on board.
