No church should endorse sin. The UMC is marrying the church to the world. Having a personal relationship with Jesus should produce a turning from sin. Why can't all human leaders learn to live in peace in the good God's world.
As the prophet Isaiah said, man does not know the way to peace. Human politics amount to ppl trying to decide what is inherently right and wrong instead treating God's word as absolute truth and trusting that He gave us those laws for our own good. That why He is going to allow humanity to push itself to the brink of extinction in WW3 before He intervenes. Man has chosen to learn the hard way that rejecting His laws will only result in destruction.
Creating a special group of people is a wrong not a right.

Let not anybody be confused, what the Word of the Lord says about homosexuality, that is the truth and we should obey it.
Let's be honest about something though. The Bible also says that worshiping God using pagan customs and eating unclean meat are also abominations, but "Christians" don't treat those as being equally true.
Something is not clear to me because it was shown that the music festival in Israel on the 7th of October had abominable practices which is contrary to the nation's religious beliefs. Could the attack on the people be God's wrath on the nation? Perhaps they have greived the LORD, and in addition to all this, the Jewish people have been attacking Christians, which cast various questions in people's minds. We have to stand with the nation of Israel Inspite of all these things because our Saviour Jesus, our Immanuel is Jewish.
Not all festival folk were caught up in sexual Sin, but like all festivals of this nature temptation is there ,it is best to avoid these setups and let God judge
