@@cxma7283 He's from Austria - the two biggest network operators here (A1& Magenta) both (mostly) rely on LTE band 20 - which the chinese versions (usually) don't have.

The only thing I don't care about of the phone is the transparent cover. Luckily there are other options. The one this a like most is the fast charger.
EU country's use lot Band 20 (800 mhz), it would be very nice if you made also a review about the strenght singal in a city and outside. You know, if you pay 900 € for a phone and once you get it you noticed that your 4G signal is not working well. I am living in a country where B20 is the mostly coverd.
es it's expensive but if you compare it with iPhone or Samsung, it's clearly worth it

Hey are you having any issues with receiving notifications as they come through ? Can you turn it off so all notification come through straight away.? (Really need to know, as this is a deal bresker for me)

Hmmm, Mi 10 pro seems to have pretty decent stereo speakers according to reviews I've watched. It seems odd that they'd downgrade for the flagship version 😳
May be the biggest reason is space management, specially to put that 1/2 senor on 5x periscope lens. But I hope they will consider to make comeback to those dual 1216 super linear speakers in their next year's flagship models. Hope so, but only time will tell.
Now, I saw this video, in which he has said that it has mono speaker which is a mislead but it actually has stereo speakers, second one is in earpiece as like other stereo speaker phones but not like Mi 10/Pro which has industry leading symmetrical dual super linear 1216 speakers.
the camera module in mi10 ultra is bigger which tooks more space.
so xiaomi had to downgrade the speakers just to fit in.

Not that much of an issue. You get 3G everywhere at the very least in the UK
You got your stats a little wrong. The 256 version has 12gigs of ram, not 8. The 128gig version is 8gigs of ram and the 512 has 16gigs of ram.
At least, as far as I understand it. I have the 12/256 version, myself and I can tell you, it's one hell of a nice piece of kit.
It's a charger with a free phone in it. It's just like Chinese porcelain 2000 years ago you pay for the bowl not the design on it; albeit it's a little expensive
Brother you can change that notification issue actually that has done for security purposes but you can change it in setting
I've tried everything to get notifications to work........ But unfortunately it's very hit and miss..... 😩

I've just got this phone. The only trouble I have is that I've installed Google key pad but for some reason every now and again it goes back to the standard Chinese key board. Any ideas how to fix would be great. Everything else is brilliant. I've tried to disable the Chinese keyboard but it still somehow turns itself back on and you can't delete it.
I had that same issue with the Mi10 Pro which fixed itself after an update to Miui.
Not sure if thats going to be the same for the Ultra but think most likely will. Not sure of a fix in the meantime for you though and i know how annoying it is so hopefully there's an update soon!!!
I installed swiftkey.. And it gave me the option to not use any of the others.... My problem is the notifications... Driven me mad that they don't come through.. ( I've chafed every setting possible I think) 🙄

Nice video , I can't denial that xioami is great company but the biggest problem is with the system it's not simple to deal with and it's copying apple phones that's so stupid they should work with thier own way to ease for useres.

Have you tried the SafetyNet test on this phone? I don't mind Chinese rom. For me, the dealbreaker is the ability to use Google pay on my phone as I haven't used my wallet for ages. Every transactions are done on my phone.
Ive got the chinese Mi 10 Pro and no issues with Google Pay here.
Hopefully same with the Ultra.

@@bigdisme5622 thanks. I bought mi 8 few years ago and the did not pass SafetyNet. Therefore, Gpay didn't work on it. I'm very delighted to hear that isn't an issue with mi 10 series.

No single offence intended, but for a phone that won't be sold outside China, what's the point of having you or other TH-camrs review it? Are the Chinese viewing this? For a phone with such powerful specs, I was considering either this or the Huawei P40 Pro as my next phone, but I'm pained that I can only watch reviews of the Mi 10 Ultra with no access to buy it. Guess I'm stuck with the P40 Pro then.

I use it in California. I also got it from giztop. the only apps that don't run on the phone which I have to sideload is Netflix and Hulu. Also I cannot get my notifications to work correctly when the screen is off. They only come in when I wake the screen up. If anybody has a solve for that please let me know or else I'm going to sell it. I've only had it about a week.

This phone is getting hot too quickly..even after charging at 100% it doesn't stop to get hot via wireless 50watt...then the camera 5x is not stable...the stabilization is bad when u fix an object at 2 meters away...the camera switch between optical and digital non stop...focus problem....then the screen color are inaccurate...by.the time i write this review the phobe is getting hot again...i think xiaomi overclock too much the sn865 which made the phone hot after 5 minutes uses.....
