50:14 Can't thank both of you enough for talking about this, I feel like I just reconnected psychologically with my younger self. Reminds me of when I used to grind Gen 7 UU every day and wanted to build a team without using any Mega pokemon, when you place restrictions on yourself and force yourself to stick to one strategy until you know it intuitively you develop a great feel for the game and that's really satisfying. Unsure if I will be able to find the drive to replicate that process with gen 3 OU, but it's something I'd forgotten how to do after all these years and I think I regained some appreciation for competitive pokemon by remembering it.
Super interesting POV on the metagame. Great guest choice, was awesome to listen and Peab almost has me believing they could clean out a jar of peanut butter in under an hour.
You should invite Ratchet and Clank youtuber and speedrunnner, Xem92, I think he is a fan of yours and I believe he would make for an entertaining guest
The mans got real skill for ADV and a unique approach. Pretty surprising to hear his opinion on sand though lol. He has a lot of respect for the power of knock off to deny chip heal, which I agree with. Surprising disregard for the power of sand to deny chip heal. And it doesnt have to be one or the other, you can stack them after all. Big respect for number 3 on the ladder with no spikes or sand though
Yo that’s fire I know peab from smash I never knew he was nice at mons. Amazing content Jim
