At 70 years old with my eyesight not as good as it used to be be I call shaving my legs, armpits etc. the Braille method 😂😂

7 days on a 4wd trip across the Simpson Desert. That first shower after that is just heaven.

Two days sans shower. That is what happens when we go camping. But goodness, hitting that shower as soon as you get home…glorious!!
10 days after surgery, I was told no bathing, I was ready by day 11, sadly my stitches ripped open after I got my hair and body all soaped up, had a quick rinse and back to the doctors in a cab,lol, life can throw some crazy at you. So don't worry that pretty little head of yours Danna, we've all been there. Thanks for the update, see you tomorrow.💦❤️👍
Well it was 20 days because I broke my foot 🙃 and had to cut all my long hair off it was a mess have a great day danna thanks for sharing 😊

For anyone doing vanlife/car camping I highly recommend pressurized portable camp showers, the kind with a foot pump. Sooooo much better than the ol skool gravity fed solar showers. They're also good for doing dishes if you don't have a regular sink.
The longest I ever went without a shower was probably over a week back in January and February. I had fell and broke my shoulder and could not bathe by myself and I had to wait for my sister to come bathe me, but before I could do that I went in the hospital, severely dehydrated And I couldn’t be there cause I was in so much pain. I couldn’t even move myself in that bed. And then my hair matted to my skull from being in a hospital bed for five days and I had to get my hair cut off it was ridiculous.
I definitely wouldn’t be able to go a day without showering. I’m autistic and have hEDS so showering is a must.
You can purchase a shower at many campgrounds in Moab even if you aren’t staying there.
wow 4-5 days s really not bad! not enjoyable but i thought it would have been a lot longer. in my depressive spells i will easily and often go w/o a shower for 3 days. le sigh! this is actually making me grateful that i can shower, a good reminder

Off topic but youre incredibly talented and I’d like to see you succeed even more than you already have thus far. While I love the songs in the musical, its a bit difficult for me to follow the storyline or figure out what’s going on beyond knowing youve got great skills and looks. St. George rec center very much has a gym. I use it many times per week.

Just an FYI - I've been going to Anytime Fitness for about 6 years not and I love it!!!
Anytime Fitness cost a lot more but they actually are a place to lift real weights. I used them for years until moving back to Florida where I bought what I needed and workout on my concrete patio outside in Central Florida year around.
3 days is about my limit and even then its traumatizing, lol. I don't know how you do it. You give great ideas though on roughing it....stay Awesome

I worked a wilderness therapy gig (RCA, based in Enterprise UT north of StG) so I’d be in the field for a week and then home for a week. So 7 days without a shower regularly! 😝

I remember when you were in the dark in the bath at your uncle and aunt home.
I'm going to share a secret.. I was depressed and my shrink had his 2nd liver transplant and I was without a doctor to help me.. I was 5 months without a shower in the winter. I used to wash my hair and my intimate parts. but I wasn't able to be naked, I was mentally in a bad place.
I'm so sorry you had to go through that. It sounds like such a dark time. I hope you are through it and in a better place. Sending you a huge hug and SO much love 💖💮💖💮

I did a backpacking trip in 2014 so I didn’t shower for 11 days! Washing my hair was crazyyyy haha so much hair came out!!

14 days in the hospital. during the Covid time 2022. they never let me shower and never gave me wash clothes before meals. was awful. I didn't have covid. I had double pneumonia. gross!

@@jillr759 omg! I’m so sorry. I have fibromyalgia too. Hashimoto’s. You know all that crap. No jabs for me! My dr doesn’t even want to care for me because I said NO to jabs and NO to the nose fuk! So I see a NP now. I’m not messing around with any poison. All the ppl I know who got jabbed has either died, have blood clots or have had strokes. Some of my gf’s who had cancer 15+ yrs ago. It came back. They duped the people! I’m very very sorry. I got treated poorly because I wasn’t vaccinated. They told me that to my face!.
I am very pleasantly surprised you survived the hospital stay during the COVID period. Having been placed on a breathing machine, it usually means no more breakfast letta alone shower or wash.
I was in the hospital prior to COVID where my nurse made sure I was showered and properly going potty. She was an amazing Nurse.
Hey Danna, I have used those adult bathing wipes they have aloe and lanolin and no alcohol. They are really thick and you really feel like you are clean. They are much larger than like baby wipes basically they are for patients for sponge bathes. When I had my hip replaced twice they sure came in handy and definitely made me feel clean. Sometimes they have them at grocery stores or like Walmart or you can order them from Amazon.
Just a thought, even when you just go and exercise and it’s hot, it will definitely make you feel better! ❤️🩹

The stg rec center has s small gym. You could also go to sand hollow aquatic center they have a shower as well.
Have you tried the shower in the box? Just wet it and wipe your entire body. It's like a wet wipe but its advertised as a shower in a box. There are several brands.

I swear by a solar shower! Have a five gallon and it heats like a charm on a rock.

I'm not sure you should put hyaluronic acid on the extremely delicate skin under your eyes, pls research a bit. Also, you spend a lot of time outdoors and hyaluronic acid and sunlight don't mix well, so I suggest you also check how long you need to avoid direct sunlight after applying it.
Also, whenever you can afford it, have laser done, the real thing, not diode. Best money I've ever spent. Before that I never shaved, wax only and one of those at home hair removal devices that fully removes the hair from the root, if they still exist.
Thankfully I have run out of hyaluronic acid a few months back and haven't used it ... but good to know for the future. Thank you 💖💮 Laser would bee AWESOME! one day. Thanks for the tips!
Hyaluronic acid is a naturally occurring substance. We already have it in the fluids of our eyes, as well as our skin, and joints. As a topical supplement it's recommended for under the eyes because of it's hydrating properties. It doesn't increase sun sensitivity.
