Welcome JP he has knocked on the door of wisdom, courage and maturity. Kodos to the writers. I knew they were doing something deep with his character. Now i cannot waite. Wish BBC America shows this.
Yeah , You're right on all points . I hope Myra doesn't die from the " shadow " .... I've always liked her character alot - flawed but basically loveable .
I'm glad he decided to keep his baby, was quite a nice episode on the whole. Except for the bit where he named his son after the bloke who murdered his sister and tried to throw his boyfriend off a cliff.
Thank God in heaven, Jp you redeemed yourself!!! I again LOVE jp!!! Now go find someone to love you too. I would love it to be Craig but if it can't be I just want him to be happy--If that is possible on this show. . .lol
yeah, I didn't think of that. I think he did it for the person Nial may have turned out to be if Myra had raised him. He was lost because he knew his mother gave him up and went on to have so many other kids. Nial may not have gone insane and did what he did if he was not placed on that doorstep. I think it was a fitting tribute to Myra and her struggles to deal with what she did. She looks at everything that happened with Nial as partially her faught.
Did not think that the words "He's my son" could make me melt! I think that is the first time that he's actually accepted it 100%. I'm going to jump back on the John Paul/ Spike bandwagon now. They'd do such a great job with little Matthew!
who knows? it could be his or Craig's because they both donated a sample and were not told who was the real father. paternity is probably going to be a future storyline. . .oh joy
Maybe not. Frankie just went on about her only grandchild(forgetting poor Esther). If she were to find out this is Craig's kid, she may stick her oar in.
Ohhh see that's what happend when you read comment before having seen the episode through to the end. lol So Matthew it is.... and I think faith6833 is right. It's in memory of how Matthew was not how Niall turned out to be.
Jp at 1.42 : yeah My own mum more important than my son. End of Conversation. finally Jp owned up to take his own child. bravo. Thank you Jp for taking up the due responsibility. & wait, when did they mention that the baby's name was Niall? please that reminds us of that evil murderer. the baby is Matthew rt?

Finally, JP got some balls and claimed his child. I like this a lot.

Thanks for sharing. Interesting direction that will no doubt please most, if not all, the intended audience.
FINALLY JP! I Would totally marry him right away the moment he tells his son that he made a mistake ;-)
That is not how u hold a baby standing up lolol

So happy JP finally came around.

I love British writers. They forcus on what is important.

thank good he came around
Love it!
Hey, can any one tell me what happened to Mcayla~ the youngest Mcqueen? I missed a few years between jp an craig storyline and todays eps. Thanks!!
I kinda' thought that was the case . Thanks!!!
Aw, I'm beginning to like the idea of JP as a dad. Both he and his baby are adorable! I do wonder if he'll find someone special later on.
if you still don't know, you can watch full episodes @ Dexter DeSouza channel
That was Father Kieron, I forgot about him! It was Craig who he had at the top of a cliff.
So is the baby biologically jp's
glad the baby is staying with JP
yeah me too
I haven't watched the New ones yet but they better keep James on the show
The number of locks on their door worries me lol
J. Walter Weatherman: "And that's why you don't give kids up for adoption."
People in soaps go insane over everything.
I am wondering, can Spike return to Hollyoaks?
For size of baby fast forward your calendar.
For frankfurter discretion pants suffice.
Paternity will only become a storyline if Guy Burnet's Craig ever comes back to Hollyoaks - AND Craig has changed his mind about wanting a child.
So the baby stays on the show-which means in a couple of years he'll be 16 with a story of his own.
Myra's bringing up Matthew hit John Paul hard. He killed JP's boyfriend Kieron.
I know what you mean, but it's not something I could've done personally. I understand what you're saying though. x
or if frankie decided to poke her nose into the situation. . . .
This isn't the same baby. The first one had dark hair, a small head and looked just like Craig.
thanks! I hoped they had not killed off another McQueen. . ..
Maybe not. Frankie just went on about her only grandchild(forgetting poor Esther). If she were to find out this is Craig's kid, she may stick her oar in.

Myra is fine. That doctor is just feeding her a lot of bull so she will want to take Mercy back into her good graces.
no he named him after the baby his mother gave up.. the murderer didn't even go by that name
Um, Father Kieron was his boyfriend at the time he was killed by Nial......wasn't he?
nothing wrong with giving an infant up for adoption, if you do it the right way. legally. Myra left the poor kid on a doorstep.
you forgot that he overdosed his fiancee
Do you realize that there are now, like 4 gay male characters in the village??
But still.... How could they name him Niall. Seriously!!

Didn't he end up poising and killing that boyfriend?
and he killed JP sister and almost threw Craig off a cliff. . . .
Hope he doesn't get parenting advice from Nancy. I mean how many near misses has she had now?
