For me, basically anything by: David Bowie, They Might Be Giants, Peter Gabriel, Talking Heads, the B-52's, The Clash, The Doors. And a host of other old classic rock but not necessarily anything specific
I just want to thank you guys. You guys introduced me to Gorillaz and I love them. If I didn't know who ihe was I would never watch jar media and I wouldn't discover the Gorillaz. Just thanks for the awesome videos. 👏👏👏
not sure if you read comments anymore but I highly reccomend checking out future islands' entire discography, one of their earlier singles, balance is their best song imo, earlier they made much more of an effort to use more experimental sounds imo :)
I love that when they think of Skrillex, they think of "Bangarang" -a five year-old song. Skrillex doesn't have a genre btw, although he has attempted dubstep he has, in fact, also delved into hip-hop, house and reflective chillstep. Atm though, he is touring the world with Diplo under the duo's name: Jack U. And they currently compose Jungle/Breakbeat/Trapstep. I'm seeing them live at Creamfields when they finally come to the UK (in two months). If you are still reading this then maybe you are braindead. ( ;

Not that anyone cares but for me it would probably be Bjork's "Debut" or the first Rage Against the Machine record, or White Pony by Deftones. I really can't choose.
Probably Como te Llama by Albert Hammond, Jr. is one of my favorite albums of right now. Is that what we're saying in the comments? Our favorite albums?
James would bring 311's Coma Original album, then the members of JAR would have to kill him Lord of the Flies-style. James' last words to Alex would be: "Shabba dabba dabba dabba dabba down down, Shabba dabba dabba dabba dabba down down..."
Wanted to say here what my favourite album was, but then realized music in general has been annoying to me lately. I tried listening to so many different bands and singers of so many different genres, and it's been either boring and forgettable or annoying and sickening. And I used to love music so much. Plz tell me I'm not alone.
I'm glad that I'm not the only one who feels the same way you do. Honestly, the worst genre ever is pop. Pop music ruined everything. Now, we have all these stupid singers like Justin Bieber, Taylor Swift, etc. in my opinion, music is not like it was before, but that does not mean we should stop listening to music. We just have to continue searching, I guess.
Go listen to a Radiohead or Rush record. If you hate pop you'll absolutely love anything from Rush before 1990 and Radiohead is great especially Kid A or OK Computer
My favorite album is the Up Down Album
Only decent album that's ever been released, really.
+Johnny Loves You what about the BO burnham albums
my opinion is different Okay. Second decent album.
Not complete yet. Wait until Today Wednesday.
"What's you favourite album by the Beatles?"

I'm really trying to think which album I prefer more, demon days or plastic beach?
I would bring Electric Ladyland by the Jimi Hendrix Experience.
Y E S
I like Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds; bunch of songs I love in there
I prefer Liam gallaghers solo stuff but yeah they are good, especially his debut
I can't pick. Nightmares on Wax - Smokers Delight might be good for a desert island scenario
The Dark Side Of The Moon by Pink Floyd is my favorite
Animals is my favorite.
This is an old video by now, but I think Californication would be a good choice because there's alot of different moods. But Demon Days is also fantastic
Peloton from The Delgados is my favourite album, with In The Court Of The Crimson King from King Crimson being second.
Is someone saying "roll it" or "roight" in the outro of the video?

Are the JAR blabs becoming JARcast deleted scenes?
Atmosphere - Southsiders. Great rap artist, the way he visualizes scenes are amazing
Not that anyone cares but for me it would probably be Bjork's "Debut" or the first Rage Against the Machine record, or White Pony by Deftones. I really can't choose.
Currents by Tame Impala
The Moon and Antarctica, and Modern Vampires of the City.
Probably Como te Llama by Albert Hammond, Jr. is one of my favorite albums of right now. Is that what we're saying in the comments? Our favorite albums?
In Utero is probably my favorite, that album's rad (I'

You need to search more than the surface level of music
People have been saying the same thing since pop music existed.
+John Bean-Dip basically what i tried to say, thank you for extending on it
Go listen to a Radiohead or Rush record. If you hate pop you'll absolutely love anything from Rush before 1990 and Radiohead is great especially Kid A or OK Computer
