Unfortunately, ‘humidture’ isn’t a word in English, the word you were trying to use was ‘humidity’. I’d really enjoy if I knew a German girl that understood Japanese, because 1) Deutsches Mädchen beste Mädchen, 2) I’m an American who learned Japanese through language exchange programs, and also study German. 3) I’m not a kitten, Cathy Cat is cute, but it would be nice to have a girl that can also dress a bit more classical for dinner. 4) I’m not a kitten, I’m a man!!!

I enjoy these Tokyo Diary videos so much. When I woke up and I saw that this was up. I thought, this a good day for pancakes! So I opened the house to let the breezes in, made some homemade pancakes, and hot tea and sat down to watch on the television. Oh, and play a little Animal Crossing on my mobile.

In Brazil! We are having tea ("mate", is our favorite one). In big glasses full of ice! But fresh fruit juice is our favorite. And little cups of coffee!

Hi Cathy cat! An american from Taiwan. You are awesome! i love your insight and calm conversation even though something bad happened you still seem cheery. I also love how you enjoy so many cool things. A boring thing like shopping seems interesting because you describe things so well and really catch the emotion of the situation. I hope to meet you in a meet and greet some day or maybe ill see you when i visit. Either way keep up the good work. maybe MLP will come back to another cafe bigger and better!

I just came home from work and enjoyed a cup of green tea whilst watching Your video. I miss Tokyo so much since I visited Japan in August. Hope to be back next year - until then I will watch some more of Your lovely videos :)
It’s 02:06 am I live in Babylon a town on Long Island in New York USA and I’m laying in bed watchn a few videos before I get some rest for my day tomorrow while my dog is taking up my pillows and snoring in my ear lolll I enjoyed your video diary CathY Cat and I would love if you considered to continue with this or do some more vloging since Japan is on my list on countries to visit and I love seeing the atmosphere and people ! As a suggestion for future videos Cat, try adding in some gentle background music despite how TH-cam cliché it is. It helps make it an easier listening experience to drown out any of the white noise created by the acoustics/draft of the room and also helps drown out any of the rustling of your clothes or fabrics nearby.
But nonetheless I find these videos very interesting. Great work.
I generally watch them when I get up in the mornings with a glass of green tea it's a wonderful way to start my day
Maybe you should get a humidifier so you can turn on the heating?
Get an humidifier! When I lived in Spain it was so dry sometimes, a humidifier would help so much, just make sure to keep in clean.
Or come visit us in Florida, we are nice and warm LOL

I wish I could’ve gone to the Utena exhibit since I’m such a huge fan (I didn’t know you were one- that makes me so happy!), but I’m excited to see your video about it!! I recommend packing on mass and growing out your body hair to stay warm during winter. Maybe find a nice cozy cave to shield yourself from the elements.

Kleiner Tipp zur Heizung, such mal nach "Infrarot Heizung". Habe die in meiner Wohnung (München Altbau) und die nehmen eigentlich keinen Platz weg und sind sehr klein und günstig.

I wish you to stay healthy despite the cold in Japan. and here in Greece, it is cold, not as intense as it is there. but is freezing. Keep going with the great work here, in Ask Japanesse and in the NHK world and stay healthy! :)

Winter has come.
That is strange about the ones who not cover their mouth while coughing or sneezing.
Like, even here in Canada, we might not wear masks but most of us cover our mouths, of course, children are the biggest exception, since they don't understand.
However, it is the WORST when you sneeze and snot comes out all over your sweater (I sneeze towards/into my arm.) ^^;

Lololol everyone is saying it's freezing! And I'm like, oh it's a bit cold, whatever. I'm trying to avoid Harajuku as much as possible, because when I go there I always buy something, it's so bad!

I have a pretty weak immune system, due to which I tend to wear protective masks when I go outside here at home or anywhere else really. Especially in "Erkältungssaison" - when the infection season starts. I've often seen Japanese people in videos wearing masks, but they are entirely different from what I consider medically useful. They look as if they only have 2 layers of paper, and some people don't even wear them over their noses (which looks ridiculous tbh) ^^ The more useful ones are made of multiple layers of special fibre and protect from bacterial infections (Tröpfcheninfektion) and viruses (98%), if you watch out and don't catch them otherwise (not washing your hand, eat sth contaminated, so on). They come in various colors and patterns. Basically they are the typical OP masks one sees in TV-shows like Emergency Room! If you'd like to look them up, they are classified as "Type 2 R / Typ II R, EN 14683". Not sure if that would help you, but I thought I'd share my little bit of knowledge, maybe someone can make use of it.
