I was in Costa Rica recently and went for a pro shave and haircut. (So cheap...5 bucks for both). The barber did not use a brush, he took something out of a tube and smeared it on my face. It was the best shave of my life. Found out it was Palmolive. I got home and tried shaving with the same product WITHOUT a brush. Just a sliver of the product goes a long way. With my leaf razor, it found it worked much much better than when applied with a brush. You should try it. Love your channel.
Yep, you're right about the plethora of scents out there, way too many to try them all. You're also correct on the higher end Polo scents, I like Polo Green and hope they continue to make it. The now discontinued "Supreme" line which I favor is out of reach going for $$$ hundreds..ah, the good old days. Nice shave and results Ken💈💈 Enjoy!
@Kensurfs another great detailed breakdown of wet shaving products. Your videos have helped me improve my wet shaving techniques and knowledge. I'm learning for me a pre shave oil routine is helping my skin a lot. Quick question, what's the difference between muhle traditional grande R41GS stainless steel safety razor (open comb) vs mühle traditional grande stainless steel safety razor (open comb)? Is it handle length?
Great shave. I got new stuff recently, which was the Stirling Barbershop soap and various blades. I have a new razor coming my way soon, so when I do get it, I’ll let you know.
Hi i am from Cyprus started shaving like this for about 4 month and i like your opinion what is better too use creams or soaps and witch of cream or soap is better too use thanks
Great shave, Ken. May have to try Thought Forms. I recently tried both Witch Hazel and an alum block for post shave follow-up, but for small nicks like that one, I've found Proraso styptic gel to be quite awesome. Have you tried that? I'd be interested in your opinion. Cheers.
Hey Ken…I enjoyed watching a few of your videos. I’ve been thinking about switching to a safety razor for a while now. I have a bald head…What razor would you suggest that I use for my head? I have a beard, so I don’t shave my face. I appreciate any help you can give me. I hope all is well with you. Thanks for making great videos!!
I’m a head (& face) shaver. The razor I mainly use is the new High Proof razor. It’s small, light, nimble, has a pivoting head, feels very safe, and quick (though it’s important to take extra care when shaving the head) and loading & removing the blade is the easiest of any razor I’m aware of. Many people also find the Leaf razor to be excellent for head shaving.
Hi Ken, thanks for your amazing videos on wet shaving, really are an inspiration. Wanted to ask, is it possible for you to do a mixed shave, a combination which is unusual and yet would be good to see how it feels. I have a coarse beard and so would go for old school materials. Can you please do a shave with the following, I would be most grateful: Razor: Edwin Jagger 316 Blade: Feather Aftershave: Azarro Chrome Many thanks Sunny (UK, Coventry).
$100-$150 for aftershave?!?! I’d buy the Stirling unscented aftershave and then just spray on the Polo EDT. You could probably but all three EDTs for that price.
Spring is sort of here now. Time to discuss your pistols and shooting skills. Show your collection please.

top shave Ken !!
Another great shave video Ken. I was routing for SD State. As someone who grew up close to Syracuse I could not pull for UConn. Oh well.
Stirling soap company has a homage to Polo blue called Stirling Blu. I think it may be in stock now for the season but I’m not sure.
I'm back! Nice job Man. Have a great weekend relax with your family. Let's Dudes!

Kensurf, please try "Ivy Creek Gardens" Shave soaps. Based in Shiloh, GA.

Hey Ken, another great video!
Quick question, do you have any particular preference for butterfly or non butterfly razors?
I'm curious how Minora compares to Permasharp, Gillette 7 O'clock, Nacet, and Gillette Platinum, Silver Blue or Ruby?
could swear I've seen Thought Forms promoted by PAA before...

Where did you get the crystal skull?

Nice shave Ken. I heard that PAA is discontinuing CK-1. Take care.
I think they only offer CK6 in 4oz now.
PAA has discontinued the other formula. They only have CK6 now.

Ken what products do you use to dye your beard 🤔
First!
Keep up the great work! You have taught me how to shave!
