Great setup. I have the exact same pens the zebra F-701 definitely a bonus to be able to change out the ink cartridges when empty

@@unclefreedom213 no doubt. Same reason I do it. An outlet and maybe I get to pass on some of what I’ve learned over the years. BTW, that carrier is pricey. If you had to buy it yourself, would you pay that much? Small town department doesn’t cover much.
Same here. 16 year law enforcement officer, firearms instructor, taser instructor, tactical medical instructor, FTO and NREMT. I don't know how big your agency is but you may want to carry a trauma kit. Never had to use a tourniquet on duty but I have responded to many medical calls and I've had to pack a wound before and used plenty of pressure dressings over the years.
As far as Miranda goes, I've always said it from memory and never had an issue. As long as you tell them they have a fifth amendment right against self-incrimination and do not have to speak with you and they also have the right to legal representation regardless of financial means, you'll never have a problem. Especially if it's on body cam. Did sexual assault investigations for years and interviewed many suspects. Never had an attorney question any of my interviews in court. Also, on a side note, I was one of the first officers ever to get a conviction on bodycam evidence.

I like your set up. I have the same vest. I carry a 9m Sig 320 too. I hate high speed gear though. I prefer protec molle gear and 5.11 molle gear. I always carry an IFAK and 3 CATS in case I get shot or someone else does. Rifle mags are in the car with the rifle though. I really want to get a Bench made ring knife; I think the one I like is the SOCP. I carry a Houge first responder knife with a glass breaker on the bottom and a seat belt cutter too. But your set up is nice.
SOCP is nice but for my get back blade I like the TDI from kabar
I keep a pair of hot pink peerless cuffs simply so I know they're mine and no one will want to steal them lmao.

My department is now authorizing outer vests! Question for you: Do you run your plate carrier over your vest or do you remove it and replace it with the plate carrier?
My concern is with having gear on my body, it will prevent me from actually putting on my plate carrier.

My department uses the same body worn cameras. What mount are you using for your body cam?
The clip panel through molle they break all the freaking time especially those little slide clips at the top. There is a kydex holster made for then that is badass
Could you possibly provide a link for the mount that you use for your watchguard vista? I only have one row of molle on my carrier. I'm trying to get away from using a pocket with a magnet to mount my body cam.

They are expensive 4 to 5 hundred plus the cost of the armor. There are some less expensive ones from Safariland and Safelife the carrier itself is sized to your soft armor exactly just something to keep in mind. Point Blank has a bunch of options for the look of the carrier as well

Im not a fan of point blank external vests. The badge flap looks ridiculous and forces a bigger shield badge to not be angled properly. The zipper in the middle doesnt hold up, and the laser cut molle sucks.
