Okay but I’ve been just spraying down my stuff with the febreeze fabric refresher, it has become a nightly thing for me since I’ve been operating in the southeastern texas heat
I spray my vest with white vinegar. Deodorizes and sanitizes.

Hey dude, loving the content. Don't know how I came across your stuff but I've watched a good chunk of your videos and enjoyed then all. I'm Border Patrol along the south west border and always enjoy seeing the differences in our jobs and getting someone else's insight on different matters.
I absolutely hate my soft armor and would wear my plate carrier over it any day of the weak. Now granted, most PD isn't allowed to have carriers due to the differences in policy but none the less, my soft armor has a perminant place in my locker. Mine's always bunching up and I have to constantly straighten it or I look like crap.

Question.. Why hasn’t anyone came up with a better body cam Mount? I’ve watched hundreds upon hundreds if not thousands of officer involved and the body cam falling off is crazy. It happens all the time!

Try to double up your magnets if you use them. Success so far doing that.
With the outer carriers we have a mount that attaches to the Molle and it’s not going anywhere. The magnet I have is also very strong and hasn’t come off yet except for one time my seatbelt got caught on it. This is another reason I think agencies should switch to outer carriers.

You should have touched on how to store a vest to keep the panels from degrading, and thereby prolong it's life. Common sense would say to keep it in a cool place, but I'm sure there's more to it.
_NOTE: I'm not a LEO. I bought a vest because I live in the Portland OR. metro area._
Solid point, but yes common sense keep it inside your home.
Hey Officer, have you ever tried out the safelight defense soft III armor, I’ve talked to some other officers who said they like having a vest that stops rifle rounds all the time. Do you ever have this thought?
I’ve never tried one, but I have heard of them. Maybe one day I’ll get one to try
Soft armor ain't stopping any rifle round beyond a .22 LR.

@@Justthatofficer If you're talking about their FRAS system, that is good for rifles. It's not soft armor though, just flexible. I't a cool innovation, but at 16 pounds, it's nothing like a true concealable soft vest.
