Love these videos Sean! I use Triangle-2-3 as my go-to but love X plus triangle as a trill or fast passage fingering. If I have to pop out an A that’s not connected to anything, I’ll use the Eb+tc fingering - it’s the best in tune on my horn. The French fingering is my standard on soprano (series III)
Sean Hurlburt Music Yes, sorry I shouldn’t have abbreviated. I like the 123456tcEb for isolated A’s or soft playing. Helps keep the pitch down and provides plenty of resistance. Looking forward to the next one!
A-mazing!
No, you are. Much A-ppreciated, Valentine.
The French fingering is my default choice on my Serie III 😅
Oy, I feel like I'm insulting everyone's children on here, haha. I'm glad it works for you, Josh.
It works well on the Serie III Soprano :) too

123456TcEb for popping? I think that’s what you meant. Glad you’re digging the videos, James! More on the way.

All good, just wanted to clarify. Hope you and the guys are all doing well in Texas!
Just add TA to the very first fingering that you showed and that’s my go to A. Basically just X plus triangle.
Nice, can't wait to try it out.
Do you have a complete list of altissimo fingerings from high f sharp to altissimo D
