Nah y’all just can’t learn your shot! So let’s say this! Season one I was shooting %46.9 in solo rec only thing I play with 89 three ball! Now season 2 same jump shot I feel good with 91 three ball 51.2 % so how learn my jump shot see in rec they change up the animation on your jumpshot so you really never know what you’re going to get but they give you the same type of animations so I try to memorize every animation they gave me and want to release the ball with that same type of animation that works for me. I’m not saying every time but sometimes I do hit! now, for example, my shooting, sometimes I look at the snap of the wrist where the ball is at above my head other times when I shoot better, I looked at the elbow. I try to release the ball before the elbow goes all the way through with the follow of the jumpshot and nine out of 10 I hit that more deny, hit with the looking at the wrist of the jumpshot so sometimes it’s better to look at different body parts like don’t always look at the ball in the wrist. Look at the elbow of your jumpshot.

Another thing, thank you All City for going no money spent last year. It made me think a lot about how much money I put into this game only for it to never fully function correctly. For the first time since I started playing again with NBA 2K23, I created 2 builds with a 70 3ball (85mid) & a build with a 75 3ball (85 mid) & in shooting 3s pretty well with rhythm shooting...
I'm shooting 60% from 3 after 60 REC games with rhythm shooting. I attempt about 4+ 3s a game. I just do my best to lock in to the push of my shot and use muscle memory for the tempo part and it works for me.
I have a Switchable lockdown defender. 92 interior 92 perimeter 85 block and most importantly… a 45 3 (now 50) greens fill as consistent as my 94 three ball build.
I shot above 60% last season mainly playing PG on a high three ball. This season I'm at 60% on a 75 three ball build at the PF. I'm getting mainly catch and shoots this season so I feel like low three ball is definitely viable on spot ups
I started Rhythm shooting on day 2 of the game (I had early access) and after the “Buff” I started bricking everything! I had to relearn square shooting but it’s still a struggle.
I have put way too much money in this game to try to find the best Bill to have fun and it just has not worked out. the game is laggy movement is slow. I just don’t like it but I’m forcing myself to play because I played two cases. I was eight years old and I have a love and passion for basketball gaming and I think 2K is taking advantage of.
I had my jumper down and since season two the base animation isn’t the same. Season one my jumper had a very noticeable leg kick that helped me time it pretty well but in season two it does this weird scissor kick like I’m always shooting on the move.
They definitely messed up rhythm shooting. Sometimes it doesn’t even recognize the up flick of the right stick causing your shot to be slightly late. I can’t time my shot for ish for the past week or so I’ve changed my shot so many times. As far as the ban them dudes know exactly what they doing. Boosting and quitting games
At 5:31 the teammate grade is just lagging behind what it actually was supposed to be. If he plays the clip showing what he did b4 this he did something that would have negatively affected his teammate grade and it dropped from A- to B+ but the screen was still showing A- but the bar dropped to where it was on the B+ if that makes sense. It happens to me all the time in starting 5.
I have been shooting around the same percentage (60-65% from three) since 2K25 dropped. I upgraded my first build no money spent 💵 and the VC I’m getting in game is going towards my second / perfect build.
I make low 3 balls builds since 23... i just use the middy to unlock the base, and its cheaper IMO. I can feel the difference tho... i make a 99 3 ball Sharp every year as well, so i can really speak on it. Its viable, but you really gotta know your shot.
I noticed the first day when i played proving grounds in 1s, i couldn't hit shit. It's inconsistent for me in there. I'm shooting 76% from 3 in park, 56% from 3 in rec. I got an 85 3 ball.
I have a pg with 99 3ball and a center with a 75. The difference in shooting is massive. 2k labs must’ve tested rating alone instead of including badges that come with a 99 3ball.
The lowest I go on 3pt is 85. Highest is 89... As far as ban system I notice while.playing proven grounds that if I reach more then twice and get a foul, it cuts the game boots me out. Then when I come back it gives me a ban warning as if I quit.
I was definitely shooting better before the patch. I had to adjust the shot speed after the patch. RNG is definitely in full effect. I’ll go 6/7 and 5/5 in back to back games and then not be able to hit anything wide open the 3rd game. I’ve also had multiple games where I start out 5/5 from 3 and then miss 2-3 in row with takeover. It makes no sense
I think its ok i have a 95 3ball but with the deadeye badge and other stuff the make shot% is alot higher than only 75% just depends on the shooter... but it did cost me a few atts but I can live with that.. not bad just the badges help alot this year I feel..
I made basically a pure slasher with a little bit of shooting on it. before the patch i was shooting about 50% off iso and catch and shoot. after the patch, I cant hit a single shot that isn't just me corner sitting and waiting for the catch
I stopped playing after the patch. I was missing every single shot that I was used to greening. I have so many clips prior to the patch. I made a new build right after the patch with a 60 3pt and I shoot the same as my 89 3pt build
I feel like all these updates be to eliminate post scores i got on last night 7’2 96 post moves 90 standing dunk and i can get clamped by a 6’5 and miss layups n dunks on them
Supposedly teammate game is updated on a minute by minute basis. The teammate grade probably updated when the shot hit. If you look at the stat board during games you'll see your teammate grade isn't always consistent it's pending update always.
I was shooting 60% before the patch. I’m barely at 40 now. Idk what they did. But the whole timing on my shot changed. I’m gonna try a new jumper because this ain’t working.
People tend to start missing when they get comfortable and start trying to "feel" their timing vs actually looking at their animation. Wanna be more consistent at shooting? LOOK AT YOUR VISUAL CUE!!
24 was the best 2k from start to last day till 25 man I agree 25 badge system is why certain folks don’t like it 25 takeover With mixture of some badges 24 &25 game of the year No input delay day 1
On the 1v1 court I play players with a 99 3pt and plays with mid 80's 3pt. Both can green good yet the 99 3pt is superior especially with the amount of possessions in a game to 21, and to me the type of 3pt they can hit wether it's a fade, off the dribble or distance is unmatched. So a 99 3pt is 100% better because of the variety ways it allows you to score
I’ve always been a stick shooter, so rhythm shooting was a breeze to get used to. It was perfect initially. After the patch, it was garbage. I had to go back to stick shooting (no rhythm) and had to slow my shot release down. I’m shooting well again but it’s VERY streaky. 24 was horrendous definitely the worst game they ever made. 25 is way better than that but still not very good compared to some of the games of the past
i average 26ppg and shoot 60% from 3pt in pro am. that’s slightly less than last season, but not by a lot. I don’t really notice a difference. 6’4” SG w 93 3pt for some context.
I was having fun when this game came out and i was excited about where the game could go from season 1. I was excited for the grind for Tmac. To me season one was the best 2k has been in years and I was eager to see what season 2 would bring. Season 2 came and I couldn't believe it. It has been the opposite of season one in every way. The gameplay has been horrendous. I thought the level 40 reward was a weird choice, especially since the first level 40 was so spectacular. Since the first pro pass player was so good, I assumed the season 2 player would be good too and unfortunately, kat has not played good for me. I don't understand it, it's almost like they tanked their own game. The gameplay, rewards, everything. And the most embarrassing thing for me, i have spent like 700 dollars since launch, trying to get players. Last night was the first diamond i got all year and I got him in a base pack that I bought with coins.😢 I don't understand it, the first season felt so good, and now I dread even turning the game on.
Been saying it for years. 2k doesn’t make the attributes matter. 90 ball handle gets plucked often. The attributes don’t matter enough to make the game versatile
99 3pt shot should mean "makes 99% of open shots". make the contest system better so a 20% contest the 99 still makes 80% vs someone with 60% now only has a 40% chance.
One game I’m hitting 80% from 3, the next not even 20%… Makes no sense!

I been having the same issue with my teammate grade, i thought i was tripping about my shit getting lower for no reason
I'm glad that they keeping the skill gap! Give the causals they own game. Let the elite or competitors compete
I think its ok i have a 95 3ball but with the deadeye badge and other stuff the make shot% is alot higher than only 75% just depends on the shooter... but it did cost me a few atts but I can live with that.. not bad just the badges help alot this year I feel..
Hey Allcity, what is that build in the background, it looks really good
I have problems being consistant with my open shot. Could be possible that I'm not really good timing my shot, but is too much and not fun.
I made basically a pure slasher with a little bit of shooting on it. before the patch i was shooting about 50% off iso and catch and shoot. after the patch, I cant hit a single shot that isn't just me corner sitting and waiting for the catch
My biggest gripe is the animations I feel they create unrealistic gameplay at times and cause more inefficiencies in the game!
Good Job , Buen Trabajo Bro 🔥🇵🇷
I started shooting worse after the patch. Before was shooting like 60% in Rec and about 50-40% after with an 85 3 pointer.
Them streamers on long win streaks are probably streaking by joining no squad courts with a squad
With my pg I'm hitting 70% from 3 but my other builds are hit or miss game to game. I think they buffed 80+ 3pt, and didn't buff lower ratings
Eyebrows on fleek ALLCity 👌
Been bricking everything. Literally went from 54 percent shooting to 37 in one week
I was shooting 60% before the patch. I’m barely at 40 now. Idk what they did. But the whole timing on my shot changed. I’m gonna try a new jumper because this ain’t working.
2k15 and 2k16 was the best 2k hands down. 2k17 was a copy in paste game for people who didn’t know
It’s weird as hell I can’t shit with my big anymore but my guard I’m striking more consistently..
People tend to start missing when they get comfortable and start trying to "feel" their timing vs actually looking at their animation. Wanna be more consistent at shooting? LOOK AT YOUR VISUAL CUE!!
Dunks are broken now too. You might miss a wide open dunk now too 😖
I just want consistency. I don’t want to make 3 wide open shots and then miss the 4th although I release at the same point
Once the patch happen I was shooting good ! Couple days later I couldn’t hit not 1 shot this is insane
24 was the best 2k from start to last day till 25 man
I agree
25 badge system is why certain folks don’t like it
25 takeover
With mixture of some badges 24 &25 game of the year
No input delay day 1
48% With a 65 3PT PG and 52% with a 82 3PT SG but my middy is 90+ on both.
I be feeling like i can’t fully control my freaking my player be feeling delayed when I walk guard or run and shoot
I havent shot consistently since the patch dropped. It's frustrating to the point I dont want to play the game
Last season I shot 65% from 3. After the patch I can barely stay over 50%. They for sure ruined the shooting on this game.
I've been saying this!! I knew I wasn't crazy!
I’ve been shooting over 50 something percent with a 74 three ball but with an 89 mid range I rhythm shoot everything since day one
I literally be missing wide opens.. but will splash all in somebody face everyday nice the “shooting buff”…. Every shot is slightly late.
Brick-Brick-green-green-speed up green-speed up Brick-Brick just dunk the ball lol 😆 😂 🤣
I'm currently at 63% from 3pt in the city and 59% in rec.
There’s always that game where I will shoot slightly late no matter how I time it after hitting almost every three last game
I got a 99 dunk “high flyer” SG with 60 three ball and I’m shooting ~ 50%-75& from 3 consistently.
Been saying it for years. 2k doesn’t make the attributes matter. 90 ball handle gets plucked often. The attributes don’t matter enough to make the game versatile
i like ja’s standpoint on his favorite 2ks i can definitely agree with that list
99 3pt shot should mean "makes 99% of open shots". make the contest system better so a 20% contest the 99 still makes 80% vs someone with 60% now only has a 40% chance.
I’m tired of going into THEATER GAMES MY SQUADS KEEPS GETTING SEPARATED NOW WE GOTTA TAKE 30 MIN BAN BECAUSE WE DONT WANNA PLAY WITH RANDOMS
