Wow! I was at this show. There was a contest on the buzz “Face to Face plays live in your living room” my buddy won it but due to sound check they had to move it to like 2 in the afternoon and everyone we knew was still in school or at work so they ended up taking us to lunch and let us watch their sound check. I was the only person up front and center during the sound check (everyone else was sitting on those giant steps..iykyk) Trevor said “since you’re the only one paying attention what do you want to hear” I had a total brain fart but managed to mutter pastel. Quite an experience for a 17 year old!!
Sometimes it feels like yesterday and sometimes it feels like a lifetime ago. I can still smell the air when I think about it and I really dig the area that had the arcades in it. The grainy footage from an old video camera truly makes it feel like a lifetime ago but remembering how my ears would ring for a couple of days makes it seem like yesterday! 🤘
My old band Millhouse out of San Antonio got to play The Abyss with Latch Key Kid's, Badger, Mr. Yuck, and then we brought GOB and another local San Antonio band named 222, this was around 1995. That was a good show 👍
