Danke vielmas für den Upload! Hatte selbst eine 790er und jetzt eine 890er R. Hilft mir sehr viel für meine Vorbereitung für diesen Sommer, möchte endlich auch hoch auf den Jafferau und den Sommeiller. Super Video!
Finally I see a video climbing Jafferau from this side. My son and me made the same route last august 2023. I have a tuareg but my son used a vstrom 650 with Road 6 worn tyres. We had to come down by the same route because we had left the panniers midway behind a tree. Next time we will use the easy way! We hadnt prepared the trip and we didnt know this was the harder route. It was not easy, we are real beginners but we did it. Nice video
Hello Benito, thanks for the comment! When I was preparing myself for the motorbike trip I also couldn´t find complete videos for some of the famous enduro spots. That´s why I thought I would make the videos accessible for the ones who are trying to prepare themselves. Actually I also have videos of the easier route available on my channel, one as full length and one short version. I made the other route last year when I basically started riding on gravel at all. The Tuareg must be a good bike, have seen quite a few of them.
@@RMAdv I will check out your videos. The tuareg for the moment is way better than me. I am doing things way more complicated than my skills. We are new in offroad, I bought it 4 or 5 months ago, and less than a dozen offroad half days, and we climbed jafferau from this side. It was the bike, not me... I guess the traction control helped. I am just scared of turning it off, but I have to practise without it for wheI find mud in the future. regards
In reality this route is much steeper than camera shows. First tough part is forest climb at 1:30. My tyres wouldnt grip there at all. When I was on top, I was so tired, I couldnt ride last short part to the fort. Other side is boring and very long.
