i had the stall all ready with the set up in this video but when it was cam only with few bolt ons and still stock gears i picked up a couple tens in the 1/4 and bout same on 60ft youll usually see 2 to 3 tens with a stall converter depending on the stall rpm
Stock crank ? I have a 2008 R/t with 3.92 getrag and dss 1 piece carbon fiber driveshaft I’m doing a 11:1 forged drop in kit from mmx , pp heads , hhp stage 2 268 comp cam … just wondering if the crank is stock ?
yes my crank is stock making 640wheel now stock crank with the mmx drop ins for 03 to 08 5.7 with supporting mods with a edelbrock supercharger i done the same rods and pistons you are talking about for close to year n/a 11.1 your better off doing a stroker if you want to stay n/a and id get a better cam get a custom grind from mmx you might touch 400wheel with the drop ins and 11.1 but numbers are just numbers but with those 11.1 pistons and everything else i had on my n/a combo mine made 390wheel best ran was 12.40 n/a but i left the stock intake on as i did not want to change it as i knew i was going super charger soon car runs 10.7s now full weight on 93oct i changed the to 5 layer cometic 0.52 head gaskets to drop compression from 11.1 to 10.4 and remesured for custom push rods its all on the videos on the channel.
I’m enjoying these driving videos a lot . If you have the time in one of your future videos, would like to see your AFR gauge during your WOT pulls! Curious since you’re all motor if your new tuner has you dialed in for 12.5 for a N/A setup.
its at 12.3at the hit then closer to the shift its 12.7 some times 12.8 right before the shift. same afr was before with the old tuner at wot. only this time the car actually performs like it should and drives with out stalling its night and day diff and more consistent at the track instead of having my time all over the place before im talking 3 mph diff and 4 to 5 tens .it only verys 10th to 2 10ths from my best time and ive actually ran the same time 3 times to back it up...on the afr some tuners like to go little richer or leaner than others but long as your in the 12.3 to 12.7 range your good your afr will also change some depending on the quality of the gas you get .
How much quicker did you run in the 1/4mile when you added the 3200 stall??
